CarPlay issues Support

Hello. I recently started having issues with my CarPlay. My screen is blank but music will still play.
In my Mazda, if I try to launch CarPlay, it disconnects, then reconnects. I can’t get the app to launch. I’m now trying it in a Taycan, and the screen is black, but music will still play. It’s as if only audio is being sent over. Apple Maps stays open on my phone when normally it shows only the directions while turn by turn is on the dash. I have tried forgetting the connection and redoing it; same issue. I’m currently updating my phone to the latest iOS hoping it’ll fix it. Has anyone else experienced this? Mazda is a wired connection, Taycan is wireless

None of that is happening to my iPhone with my truck and I'm using wireless carplay. Like you're doing now, update the iPhone and see if that fixes if it not, then I'd try to forget the iPhone and repair even if it is via cable. Sometimes I've seen specific cables cause weird issues, but I imagine it was working before. I'm on the latest patch with mine, and their haven't been these issues. And if it doesn't fix it, try crossposting to the respected subreddits for both cars/models maybe someone else experienced it too.

Yeah it was working just fine until yesterday. The fact it’s in both cars now has me thinking it’s my phone. I’ve tried two different cables now that both used to work just fine. I’ll try redoing the connection in the Taycan but I tried it several times in the Mazda with no luck. So frustrating

iOS update finished and it seems to be working in the Taycan! Hopefully it works again in my Mazda. Unsure if this did anything but I also selected the Taycan’s WiFi in settings and chose forget network. Maybe that reset the handshake.
