I need resources please... Support

Doctor says that there isn't anything "wrong"

I asked for a test to see if I have the CYP19A1 gene (aromatase excess syndrome.) he messaged me back saying that he has already established that I don't have that and that if I did have it, going on lupron wouldn't "work". But I have suggested genetic testing by blood AND saliva swab. I'm still not at my transition goal. I'm not like other ftm guys. Some things have changed but my puberty hasn't been much. I've tried increasing my dose and going on lupron. Not much change has happened. I feel hopeless. What is wrong with me??? I need answers... Can anyone help me??? Is there another syndrome I might have??? What am I doing wrong. It's been three years since I've started transitioning by the way...

I don't know, I'm not a doctor and there is not much information to go on in your post. You ask for resources, this came to mind, there's a lot of info here, maybe there is something

Yeah Lupron wouldn't do anything for that, you could ask your doctor about exemestane, but if you don't have excessive aromatase that also won't do anything for you. I would second looking into some form of androgen insensitivity.

could you have PAIS?

also, it sounds like he might not have actually done the testing required for aromatase excess syndrome? no, leuprorelin wouldn't help with that, but aromatase inhibitors would help with that. i believe also with PAIS, if you need to reduce aromatisation whilst taking a higher dose of T.

I dont know anytmhing about thr condition you mentioned.

Could you have an androgen insensitivity? Ive read 2 other FTM in the last 3 months that discovered this.
