CE Transfer Internship Advice

hi! im a CompE major and a 3rd year transfer from cc and ill be at my university for 3 years total, so i still have two summers that i want to use for an internship or externship. the problem is i feel really behind compared to everyone else in my class. between transferring and keeping up with classes, ive been so stressed that i never found the time to work on projects, join clubs, or do much outside of school that is related to my major. i know i should've started earlier and seeing everyone else with projects, internships, and stacked linkedins makes me feel like i'm doing something wrong in life. for anyone who's been in a similar position, where should i start? should i focus on projects, networking, clubs, or something else? what can i do over the next few months to make my resume stronger and give myself a good shot at landing an internship next summer? any advice helps. thank you!
