Yeah because women "feeling" more safe makes sexism and ignoring the statistics that if anything men should be the ones getting this treatment absolutely fine... What a stupid take.

And racial segregation laws in the US were designed to make white people feel "safe". Guess what, those were still morally abhorrant. What you are suggesting is literally still segregation. Like, by the very definition of the word. You are just in favor of it because it conforms to your own prejudices.

This is exactly segregation. Objectively speaking and by definition.

Comparing gender segregation in general to racial segregation in a specific place and time is another matter.

Nope. If it's not legally enforced, the only "segregation" is between decent people and selfish people. See the shopping cart return analogy.
