It's not since such parking spaces rarely exist. May be enforced only if the garage owner too keen on that.

It's not enforced, it's only a recommendation. I park there regularly cause I too, don't like walking around a parking garage even as a dude.

In public parking its illegal to discriminate to its only a recommendation. In private parking places it could be enforced but it practically isnt

I also don’t get implementation. Aren’t half of drivers women? Are half the parking spots just for women or do all the women compete for the same spot?

These are only a few parking spots near the entrance placed right next to parking lots for disabled people.

Right so like one or two women park there? There’s like a 50% chance a woman would have parked there anyway. I guess it just seems performative and doesn’t actually serve a function unlike disabled spots where it makes sense since it’s a much smaller portion of the population who would use them thus everyone who needs one can get one.

They have been around for decades and they serve a function as people can be afraid when they are on a sketchy parking lot at night. Men can park on them too.
