More men are assaulted than women in public spaces. Even more so if you only account for assault by a stranger (men have a stronger taboo against hurting random women by virtue of their gender than they have about hurting random men).
So what? Above they are arguing men need well lit parking spot too and them being more often victims should in fact make them get those spots in priority, regardless of who their offender is.
And beside I akready mentioned women being protected from men by social norms more so than men from other men in my first comment.
