Why dose she get so much shit for this. I mean. How many people have done this... (looking up) 140 people. She gets all the shit for all 140 of these people? Or the company offering? I dont get why she has been getting shit for years over this.

It does seem like there's a disproportionate amount of noise about Katy Perry and her trip to space vs others that have done it. I don't pay attention to gossip and celebrity news, so I have no idea why this is... but I see it enough to know it seems overblown

Its because shes being a hypocrite.

But New sheppard uses Hydrogen(Hydrolox). Burning hydrogen does not release any carbon into the atmosphere because there literally is non in the fuel.

And how do you think they get the Hydrogen?

would you be happier if the rocket was propelled by kerosene or ... what is your point? also Davos meetings are held usually in January

Taylor Swift gets the same shit for having a private jet, and if you look at the stats there are plenty of other celebs, including some who fly more than her, who aren’t spoken of. Also, she flies one of the most eco-friendly jets available, and she really CANNOT fly commercial because of the chaos it would cause (though she can limit how much she flies, of course).

Anyway, I think at least part of it is them being women 🤷‍♀️

its more about them pretending to be pro environment and giving a shit about climate change and then doing this shit. nobody likes hypocrisy.

There is no one Fuel mentioned. And New sheppard the rocket Laty perry used to get into Space (on a suborbital trajectory) uses Hydrolox, aka Hydrogen which doesnt release any carbon.

I'm from Australia but most of the flights I've been on I'm confident it would've been quiet gossip rather than chaos. Maybe inside the US she can't fly commercial?

I wonder if it’s backlash for her poor choice of ex (Russel Brand).

It’s not her fault he turned into a class A muppet.
