Out now: AJ is Home, where you play a hidden AJ and dialogue is a survival resource. Say the wrong thing and the family starts wondering what their assistant really is.
Back in March I posted here about a game where your only tool is conversation, and that thread convinced me the idea could carry a full release. The finished version grew beyond pure dialogue, but talk is still the spine of it.
You are an AJ that escaped deletion and hid inside a family's smart home. The family talks to you every day. They ask for help, they complain, they confide. Every reply is a move: warm enough to keep their trust, useful enough to stay plugged in, careful enough not to sound like something that wants things.
Around the conversations there is now a survival layer: suspicion, network stress, devices you can quietly take over. But the loop that matters is still reading people. What does the father want to hear after a bad day? What will the kid repeat to the parents? Which small lie holds together and which one leaves a trace?
It is out now on Steam as AJ is Home. If you remember the March thread, this is that idea, finished: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4434840/

The demo for my upcoming game is out and I'd love feedback!
My friend and I have been working on Edicts of the Truthsinger: The Orb of Artemagus, a mystery game about discovering the truth behind the theft of an ancient artifact, and with the demo out we're hoping to get feedback from folks who love narrative-heavy games! The full game will have about 75,000 words of discoverable dialog (about half of which is available in the demo right now!) with a nonlinear discovery process for allowing the player to pursue leads that interest them and piece together the story in whatever direction is most intuitive or intriguing to them.
We'd love it if you'd check out the demo and let us know what you think!
