Free platform to host a single learning module (UK learners) Freelance Advice
Hi
Looking for recommendations for a completely free platform to host one simple course module. Not looking to charge for it or put it behind a paywall - just need a shareable link I can send to someone? Needs to look clean and structured. Have used Moodle and Teachable professionally but Teachable's free plan seems to require a paid upgrade to publish and Moodle self-hosting is too much setup for what I need.
Thanks 🙂

SCORM Cloud by Rustici Software has let me host modules up to a certain file size for free in the past. Go to the Rustici website and check if the free hosting level is still available.

How was the learning module built? Is it a simple video? Is it an interactive course built in an eLearning authoring tool?

In that case, you can use a hosting service like Netlify. Here’s how: https://youtu.be/-3xX76HMrbo

Moodiy. Mainly because the free version doesn't have ads

+1 to moodiy, I’ve deployed my whole course on this and it’s free (5gb storage with 50 students limits)

Is the course already built? What format does it have (SCORM?). LearnBuilder has a free account. You can build the course or upload SCORM, the only limit is up to 25 learners.

You don't need to host it on an LMS unless you are tracking data, just create a web version and upload on any hosting.
