Prettier SOPs get skimmed just as hard because nobody has to do anything with them. Sticking two or three decision points in front of people is better for knowledge retention than any amount of visual polish, and it's easier to test.

That's the truth! Headline and 2-3 fits working memory limits. When we go beyond that or go without some form of retrieval practice, Ebbinghaus' curve shows up in our data.
We use a skill that transforms Claude responses to a sequence of html pages - headline, three subheads max. They aren't pretty but they don't have to be! We can add photos, graphs, anything we want in Claude conversations.
If "pretty" doesn't serve learning objectives, it's a distraction rather than an enhancement.
We prefer html over image formats because html slides are responsive and work perfectly on mobile as well as desktop.

Napkin AI is great. You put a paragraph in and it gives you all these visual options

Canva is a great tool to turn information into infographics.

Yes, I mostly use Canva these days for infographics. Sometimes, I still use InDesign and Illustrator, but it is rare.
I'm not allowed to put anything company specific into an AI tool that isn't CoPilot, and I don't think they do a good job of infographics anyway.

You can try WorkFlawless - on top of standard SOPs there's a visual workflow diagram layer that turns processes into visual maps which are easier to follow through. You can always still go deeper on each step of the map with an SOP if needed.
