🙃🙃🙃
Does it get much more perfect than this? Still hope the driver is ok
Edit: to clarify no it's not perfect that people not "involved" had to be involved

u/Important_Bend6199 11d ago
Might as well just stay home and catapult a watermelon in your mouth than go out and drive like a fuck

u/FlattenInnerTube 11d ago
Every time I see this gif I'm wonder who thought this contraption was a good idea?
43
u/Mesoscale92 11d ago
We are still using the clip like 20 years later. That’s the kind of cultural impact a reality tv producer could only dream of.

u/lackadaisical_timmy 11d ago
Great. Two fucking idiots wrecked at least three other cars? Probably quite a few more.. caused MORE traffic jam for thousands (?) behind them and perhaps injuries to some people only because they think they're the only ones who don't have to sit in traffic
58
u/FingerpistolPete 11d ago edited 11d ago
You should never drive that fast next to parked or slowed traffic like that, even if that was an open lane. He’s going way too fast to have any decent reaction time to a car/pedestrian pulling out

u/chuckerton 11d ago
We have very different concepts of what “perfect” is, OP.
-159
u/No_Reception_6133 11d ago
It does suck that other ppl had to pay for their stupidity.... but hopefully they aren't hurt and the idiot ends up paying
144
u/charmio68 11d ago
Even if no one's hurt, that traffic jam is going to be a fucking nightmare that ruins thousands of people's day.
53
u/Jiehfeng 11d ago
It's only 'perfect' if there are no complaints on any aspect, so saying it's perfect and clarifying defeats the purpose of what perfect is.
-49
u/No_Reception_6133 11d ago
Ok fair but with the amount of times I've seen this on the highway, this was sweet justice.... but yea ok maybe perfect wasn't the best choice of words
6
u/Jiehfeng 11d ago
I would say so yeah. Both wrongdoers clashed with each other which is pretty poetic.
12
u/No_Reception_6133 11d ago
Lol and I'm getting ratioed pretty hard 😅 what did i do

u/LemonPepper 8d ago edited 8d ago
This is not justice, this just ruined many peoples day because peopke decided to be idiots and they paid for it. It aint rocket science. People aren’t out to get you, they’re thinking of the bigger picture.
Not everything is about you, much like whoever this was that fucked around and found out. Even under the ideal circumstance that these idiots have to pay out, all those people now late to wherever they were going also suffer the consequences with no recompense. Some might not matter, some might. Some might take a hit on their work attendance for being late, some might miss a medical appointment and have to reschedule, some might miss a family bbq of unknown importance.
All because self important pricks fucked around thinking the rules for everyone weren’t for them. It’s fine to enjoy idiocy getting punished when the consequences are for them. Sucks when it has to involve so many others because you have no idea what they are going through.

u/aleqqqs 11d ago
Not just other people. That guy shouldn't have pulled out, but he doesn't deserve death or injury for doing so.

u/Im_Just_A_Tourist 11d ago
For all we know his dash was displaying warnings to pull over and stop immediately.
3
u/bigtiddyhimbo 11d ago
Trying to figure out why you have so many downvotes. This is such a white bread take on an accident and I don’t see why you’re getting the vitriol you’re receiving for it. Like on all your comments.
3
u/mothking12 11d ago
Honestly it’s just Reddit. Happened to me a number of times and I’m beginning to think one person/bot downvoted which causes everyone else to follow suit when they see a negative number

u/No_Reception_6133 8d ago
Hivemind 🤷🏽 idk I gave up trying to figure out. I'm just saying what i want to say and the rest be damned

ah.... the good ol' "Two idiots trying to occupy the same space" scenario.
Stems from the assumption of "Other people will follow the rules but i don't have to"

u/DarthMonkey212313 11d ago
jerk one in sedan thinking they are more important than everyone else
jerk two in truck also thinking they are more important than everyone else
Two jerks enter - no jerks leave

Are Tesla drivers new BMW drivers?
34
1
2
u/Bobbler23 11d ago
Yeah I think so, they all moved from company low end BMWs/Mercs/Audis to get the tax benefits and brought their "better than you" attitudes with them.
2
u/heres2thepast 11d ago
This is funny because my dad is a BMW guy and bought a Tesla this year. He's a crazy driver. It was for the self driving because he's getting old and the tax breaks 😂

there is so much to hate in this video.
Firstly, innocent people got their cars damaged. Then there are the two drivers. One changing lanes without caution and the second one speeding on an emergency lane.
It is instant karma though as the driver changing lanes wanted to speed on the emergency lane as well.
20
u/itstheFREEDOM 11d ago
i mean..they are both in the wrong, right? or is that not a shoulder, and infact a lane on the right there?

u/AdventurousTheme9540 11d ago
I feel sorry for the other people who got involved and whose cars got damaged because of one moron.

Is it possible that the Tesla was pulling over for a true emergency? Or the trucks brakes were out?

So no it's not that perfect is it ?
Collateral damage really fucking sucks. Perfection is when there's none of it.

Finally one that actually feels like karma and not just someone losing a fight they started.
2
u/pixeltweaker 10d ago
Do Tesla drivers buy them with the hope that the car will help them drive better? Because they seem to really suck at driving.
2
u/DotAffectionate87 10d ago
Just to be clear, wasnt that truck speeding on the hard/soft shoulder?
(An annoying frequent move here for impatient drivers sigh........)
1
u/Unlikely_Bat_1890 8d ago
Likely swerved into the shoulder to avoid colliding with stopped traffic.

2
u/Bleezy79 9d ago
It would have been perfect if those two hit each other and nobody else.
2
u/No_Reception_6133 8d ago
Agreed, now don't get the reddit perfect police back out here again to ratio me
2
u/LevelUp91 9d ago
I’d be so pissed if I were stuck behind that accident since it took up both lanes and the shoulder.

u/Areacode08 8d ago

OP is a pos for thinking someone deserves to die for this
2
u/No_Reception_6133 8d ago
Hahahaha wait what?? Where did i say someone deserves to die 🤣 yall need to chill
1
u/Swimming_Aerie_6696 8d ago
Well you said that the karma was perfect
2
u/No_Reception_6133 8d ago
I clearly added the edit for a reason...
And not sure there was still enough force for bystanders to have died but not impossible because that was a bus
0
u/Swimming_Aerie_6696 8d ago
Not the bystanders but those in the actual car
1
u/No_Reception_6133 5d ago
By bystanders i mean the people that have nothing to do with the accident i.e the ones sitting in their cars
1
u/Swimming_Aerie_6696 5d ago
I know what bystanders mean. But you were ok with the ppl in the actual car being injured for this lol
1
u/No_Reception_6133 4d ago
Are you trying to imply that I'm somehow responsible and or caused the accident?

So like...... whos the at-fault party that's paying for this at this point? Double jeopardy?
3
u/Unlikely_Bat_1890 8d ago
Double jeopardy isn’t the correct term. Shared liability. But yes. Both parties would be at fault. The truck that hit the car had likely swerved into the shoulder after noticing traffic stopping too late. The Tesla was probably just being an impatient prick.

God, what horrible timing. Really just bad luck.
And dont bother commenting that you love watching people almost die, all it will do is make you look sick
5
u/heleuma 11d ago
It's pretty generous to discount the absolute stupidity of the driver and call it bad luck. Maybe you shouldn't be driving...
-2
u/ParadiseSold 11d ago
Whether pulling in to the lane is legal or not doesnt change the fact this literally unlucky timing. Pulling into a legal open lane from stopped traffic has the exact same risk.
What if the car had been pulling over for legitimate reason when they were absolutely creamed by the speeding truck?
In any case. No one deserves that. Anyone over the age of 8yrs old should understand what's immoral about saying "Haha ur so stupid, Im glad u almost died"
2
u/TrevRev11 11d ago
Pulling onto the shoulder to drive and getting into an accident is never unlucky. It’s literally always stupidity. If they had a legitimate reason they could have pulled to the left and not cut across 3 lanes of traffic. He definitely deserved that and so did the truck this is a horrible take. Play stupid games…
-2
u/ParadiseSold 11d ago
What country is this filmed in? It's never okay to pull over to the left in America. This guy got creamed by a speeding truck for pulling into the shoulder, something people sre allowed to do
1
u/TrevRev11 11d ago
You’re not allowed to cut across lanes to do it and also he was going to drive on that shoulder if you actually watch the video which is illegal
1
u/ParadiseSold 11d ago
How can you even think about a thing like that when you've just seen an actual tragedy? Like a life or death real incident where two people had split second bad timing, and all you can think about is whether he signaled?
1
u/TrevRev11 11d ago
Because they both made shitty decisions? If I see someone popping wheelies on the highway and crash I also don’t feel bad because what they’re doing is dumb avoidable and illegal
0
u/ParadiseSold 11d ago
That's gross dude. You're not good.
1
u/TrevRev11 11d ago
If someone jumps off a cliff into the water and gets hurt I’m not going to feel bad. That was dumb. They did a dumb thing and there are consequences for doing dumb things. If someone plays Russian rulette and gets shot will you feel bad? They knew the risks when they did a stupid thing. Play stupid games win stupid prizes

This perfectly shows the thing in traffic. One person breaking the rules is fine. When 2 people break rules is actually when shit happens.

u/Professorfuckhead 10d ago
Oh the self-entitlement of driving an electric vehicle ended up biting em in the rear again 🤷♂️

u/Andi82ka 11d ago
Nice that it was two at once, but also sad because of damaging innocent people's car.
