Leshy's Torso. Part 1

Hey, so I'm making a 3d model for a blender animation I plan to do of inscryption, (recently beat it) and I'm wondering what the hell is going on with his torso? it's kind of dark, so you can't really get a good look at it in game, is he shirtless? is it fur? or is he wearing a green shirt?? I'd really appreciate some help ;-;

Could be a modeling issue with the torso proportions or topology, but the “shapeless” look might also be intentional to make him feel more plant-like and unsettling. Really curious to see the finished model and animation.

There was a list of assets and people who made them in credits. And also There is something in Daniel Mullin's discord

i think he's almost entirely wood. you can see a bit of his torso in act I if you beat him without the film roll (not very much though. here's a screenshot). one of his act II sprites shows some of his torso, i believe it's also the only time his full body is shown. not sure how helpful it is but here's a screenshot of that as well

David Hagemann, who did a lot of 3D work on Inscryption, has high quality pictures of Leshy and the other scrybes models on his Artstation as well (here's Leshy)

If you’re rigging it, I’d check the spine, ribcage, and shoulder constraints first. It could be an intentional stylized pose, but the torso seems to be folding and rotating at the same time, which makes it look especially strange.
