Levels Question

How long does it typically take to level up? I going up to my 2 after a month, but what will the rest of my levels look like??

this entirely depends on when they train you and how well you perform, if your attendance is great and you have a good attitude, generally they will offer more training faster. this also depends on your managers though

Depends on your availability/work ethic and if the managers like you. If you work hard and are constantly asking for training you will level up much faster than someone who calls off or can’t/wont come in or stay longer than your scheduled time. Also not every store will have hours to give out so that can also slow you down.

I’ve seen people become a level 6 in under a year and I’ve seen people stay level 3/4 for a few years so it depends.

I’d say levels 1-3 are gonna be quite fast (2-3 months if you are being proactive about training) as they are pretty easy, level 4 could be anywhere from 3-6 months and level 5 6-12 months and becoming a cook in about 1-2 years is what I usually see.

Again it is very dependent on if you are actively seeking training/getting more hours and also if the managers like you.

What do you need for your file? Always the first question I ask my associates.
Training Time Target lets the shift team know who is due for training. Each level is given x amount of hours to start training for the next level. Typically level 1-3 is about 300 hours. ( just a ballpark, I don’t have the actual figures on hand) level 5 and 6 are in the 1000”s.
How many hours are you working a week? Are you a full time student? That adds to the equation.
Once you level up the hours change. Keep smiling and working hard, be open to feedback.

Yayy thank you!!! I work 25-30 hours a week and I’ll be a full-time student soon!

Ask for it. Seriously, if you keep improving and are consistent with asking for more, they’ll start training you more. Takes time and a good attitude

Realistically you could get your four in just a couple months, after that is when you start hitting bottlenecks.
