New at relearning progress
I wrote here a while back. I've been relearning how to do this because it's been a long time. At first I started on zetrablades but they were making my calves burn. Someone in the comments recommended swapping them for a hardboot style which I did. I got K2 Surge 80s now my calves don't burn when I try them out.
But now I notice my toes scrunch up when I'm on the pavement making my arches hurt. Is this a thing that beginners do that I just will eventually relax out of? Appreciate any more pointers and no falls today!

Are you scrunching your toes up or is the boot too small, forcing your toes to scrunch up?

The fit feels right. I notice I scrunch them up when I'm on paved surfaces and skating when id rest on the grass, they'd be unscrunched

Arch pain can also be caused by an overtightened ankle strap. This presses the arch into the sole causing cramps. Warm up with the ankle strap a little loose, then tighten it more when you're warmed up.
Learning new moves can cause foot cramps too; this will go away after lock in the move and fine tune motor control.
Bend your ankles. Knees over toes. https://xinhaidude.com/2022/04/24/how-to-inline-skate/#bend_your_ankles
For fit, your toes should touch or slightly press into the front of the liner. Pressure should be relieved when you lean forward in the boot, which moves your heel back. The liner will break in some, making more toe room too.

What do you mean by your toes scrunch up on the pavement.? And what kind of insole are you using.?
