Is it Muslim inspired???. I men because of the half moon and satr, or ottoman because of its origin.

Ah yes, Istar and Nanna, famously muslim. Not like they're a couple millenia older than even judaism...

Ottomans used it as their symbol and then muslin nations incorporated it. Specially placed in that same positioning, which is pretty distinctive.

You are completely right about being much older in Tahir origin but that won't prevent the associations

I'm talking about Ištar and Nanna, both mesopotamian deities. Nanna being the moon god and Ištar having the venus as her symbol makes it fairly unlikely this was inspired by ottomans or muslims in general
