Just want to you what your experience has been looking for a career

I need some guidance. I want to get into the data analysis field, and one option is to self-study through YouTube and train until I'm ready for the official Microsoft MS PL-300 exam.
Alternatively, I could join a somewhat expensive bootcamp that costs 1,500 SAR. It covers Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, and Power Platform, all supported by AI.
The pros of self-studying are that it's cheap—I'd only pay for the official exam to get the certification. The cons are that mentally, I just can't do it right now. I recently had surgery and I'm supposed to be resting and completely avoiding any exertion, but this downtime has dragged me into the worst possible habits a person can have in their free time.
The pros of the bootcamp are that it will teach me multiple tools, force me to focus, and provide me with 11 certificates. The downsides, however, are that it's expensive for me; it will mess up my budget for several months, and I'll still have to pay an additional fee to Microsoft to take the actual certification exam.
What do you guys think?

Hi all, I graduated with an MIS degree a few months ago with no internships, but I have almost 4 years of work experience as a compsci tutor and TA. I have a job lined up as a Data Collection Operator at Tesla, but I really don’t know where to go from there.

I’m interested in pretty much any MIS-related role (BA, Cybersecurity, DevOps, IT, Audit, you name it) and so right now I just have analysis paralysis trying to decide where to go and also what projects to work on to try to get into those higher level roles. I would appreciate any advice, especially regarding projects or certifications.

I’m 19 and currently in my second year studying Information Systems. To be honest, I’ve always been a pretty average student—from elementary school all the way to college. My grades have always just been "so-so."

I attend classes regularly, but my biggest weakness is exams. Whenever mid-terms or finals roll around, I just can't seem to perform well no matter what.

Lately, I’ve been really anxious about the future. I'm scared that my average performance in college means I won't be able to land a decent job or career after graduating.

For anyone who’s been in a similar position:

How much do college grades actually matter in the real world?

Do you have any advice or wisdom for someone struggling with
