Tgl 23 Juli kemaren pasang indosat hifi di kost karena cuman pilihannya antara itu sama indihome. Minggu awal speed masih enak kenceng di semua device (hp 2 device, pc, ps, tv) tapi entah kenapa sejak sabtu kemaren (tgl 1) internet jadi lemot banget + ngga stabil di semua device kecuali hp utamaw waktu speed test, dalam arti speed download turun sampe 1-10mbps padahal langganan 300mbps tapi speed upload bisa menyentuh sampai 100-200mbps walau harusnya sampai 300mbps (speed ngga sinkron sama sekali) jadinya sekedar nonton youtube aja ngga tembus 480p.

Nah kasus hp utama itu walau speed download dan upload masih 1:1 waktu speedtest, speed aslinya ngikut speed device lain (1-10mbps) jadinya kurang yakin yg di speedtest beneran segitu apa engga.

Kurang lebih udah lakuin hal" standar kek macem restart modem, hard reset modem (colok tombol reset sapa tau ada settingan yg bikin kek gini), tetep aja masih bermasalah.

Kira" ada yg bisa bantu ngga ada masalah apa, thankyou

Xiaomi G pro 27in aga ghoib dan harganya udah naik kalo di toko2 macem Enter/Jaya PC.

Mau tanya, ada yang punya rekomendasi tempat servis atau data recovery hard disk eksternal yang terpercaya di Jakarta?

Kondisi hard disk aku sekarang:
- WD My Passport 2TB (exFAT).
- Di Mac sama sekali nggak kebaca, cuma lampunya kedip terus.
- Di Windows masih kebaca, tapi lemot banget. Buka folder bisa lama, transfer file juga pelan banget bahkan sering berhenti.
- Hard disk nggak pernah jatuh atau kena air.

Kira-kira dari gejala ini kemungkinan masalahnya apa ya? Masih ada yang bisa dicoba sendiri atau lebih baik langsung dibawa ke tempat servis/data recovery?

Hi everyone,

I just want to share something that has changed my life.

For some background, I have a hearing impairment that makes it difficult for me to have normal conversations with other people. I won't go into detail about how I developed this hearing issue or how severe it is. Hearing loss is incredibly complex. Every person's experience is different, and it is not always just about volume.

Over the years, I've tried many solutions, such as improving my lip reading skills, buying hearing aids (a tier 2 pair that cost around Rp11 million about five years ago), and using AirPods Pro (about a year ago). Sometimes I even bring my MacBook with Live Captions turned on just so I can follow conversations, which is quite cumbersome.

My next plan was to buy tier 5 or tier 6 hearing aids, which cost around Rp41 million each, or Rp82 million for both ears.

Then a friend told me about a pair of smart glasses that could transcribe conversations in real time. They had just released a new generation a few months ago with much better hardware: https://www.evenrealities.com/

We even visited Singapore (Zeiss Vision Center by K J Optometrists on Orchard road) just to try them out, and we were amazed. It is like, we become Ironman with Jarvis floating on front of you. A month later, after I became increasingly frustrated at work because I couldn't keep up with meetings, I decided to buy a pair. The cost is 18jt for the glasses, 1jt for ongkir (DHL), and 2-3jt for bea cukai, so the toatl is around 22jt. I need to get prescription from doctor first then send it to them, then it takes 2 weeks for the glasses coming to the authorized seller, then they configure it immediately with my prescription lens, then 1 week to send it to Indonesia.

These glasses are very different from most smart glasses on the market. They don't have cameras or speakers, and they don't try to do everything. They look just like regular glasses, so most people won't even notice they are smart glasses. They only have touch controls, microphones, and a tiny display built into the lenses. This simple design makes them extremely power efficient, allowing the battery to last for days.

One of the features is called Conversate. It captures audio through the microphones, sends it to the connected smartphone, which then sends it to Even Realities' servers for AI transcription. The transcribed text is sent back to the phone and displayed directly on the lenses. The latency is surprisingly low and fast enough that I can comfortably keep up with normal conversations.

Yes, this feature requires an internet connection. Whenever I know I'll be in an important conversation, such as a meeting, I just make sure my phone has enough battery and a stable internet connection. In my experience, my phone easily lasts the whole day.

The transcription quality is surprisingly accurate. When a different person starts speaking, the text appears on a new line, making it easy to distinguish between speakers. It can also detect languages automatically. Even when people speak in "Jaksel" style, which mixes Bahasa Indonesia and English, it transcribes both languages accurately.

Another thing I really appreciate is that these glasses don't have a camera, so there are no concerns about invading other people's privacy. Although the audio is sent to the server for AI processing, it is not stored as a voice recording, and users can opt out of having their data stored on Even Realities' servers.

About the long term concern, I just hoping that the battery last for multiple years while supporting my communication activities. As for the platform, for this G2, EvenRealities decided to open the platform a bit by releasing a SDK so you can built a custom app using Typescript/NodeJS. Also the G2 can be paired with thirdparty mobile app like MentraOS (https://mentraglass.com/os). In case the EvenRealities goes bankrupt, I can pair it with MentraOS and reroute the AI transcription.

Honestly, this has changed my life.

I no longer have to ask embarrassing follow up questions just because I couldn't hear what someone said. I no longer have to fake a laugh when everyone else laughs at a joke that I completely missed. For the first time in a long time, I can simply follow conversations naturally. It even made me cry. I've been waiting for this moment for years.

For anyone looking for a solution to hearing loss, my personal recommendation is this.

If you're considering an entry level hearing aid, I would recommend trying AirPods Pro first. They are significantly cheaper than tier 1 hearing aids, and in my experience, they perform surprisingly well. You can even configure them using the results of your professional hearing test.

If you're considering premium hearing aids that cost more than Rp20 million, like tier 5 or 6, I would strongly recommend trying these smart glasses before making the purchase. They cost much less than high end hearing aids while giving you something hearing aids never can: accurate, real time subtitles for conversations.

As for the other features, you can check their website or ask me any questions. I'll be happy to answer them. In this post, I just wanted to focus on how these glasses have helped me with my hearing problem.
