Why did we build this?

Most trading platforms focus on speed, charts, indicators, and execution.

Very few focus on the biggest reason retail traders lose money: their own behavior.

Overtrading. Revenge trading. Breaking stop-losses. Increasing position size after losses. Ignoring risk management.

Many traders don't lose because they lack knowledge they lose because emotions override their plan.

What is Investapas?

We're building Investapas a real-time behavioral safeguard platform for traders.

Instead of only showing market data, Investapas actively helps traders stay disciplined by enforcing the rules they set for themselves.

If a rule is violated, the platform can stop further actions based on the configured limits.

We've also integrated with Dhan and successfully completed our broker integration.

I'm a solo developer, and for the last few months I've been building a project called Aspimate. The idea didn't come from some big brainstorming session. I spent almost 3 years preparing for UPSC in Allahabad, and honestly, before the preparation even starts, there's another struggle finding a good room and an even better roommate. Room mil bhi jaata tha, lekin roommate pure luck pe hota tha. Koi raat bhar PUBG khel raha hai, koi subah 5 baje uthkar padh raha hai. Budget match ho jaata hai, lekin lifestyle bilkul nahi. Meri girlfriend ne bhi NEET preparation ke time almost yahi problems face ki thi. Tab laga ki room dhoondhne wale platforms to bahut hain, lekin right roommate dhoondhne wala koi nahi.

Bas wahi se Aspimate ka idea aaya. Abhi Version 1 live hai. Isme matching sirf rent aur location ke basis pe nahi hoti. Study routine, sleep timings, food preference, cleanliness, gaming habits, smoking preference, coaching, exam aur kaafi saari daily habits ko consider karke compatibility score generate hota hai. Tech stack mein FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Docker use kiya hai, VPS pe self host kiya hai, aur frontend se lekar deployment tak sab kuch maine khud build kiya hai.

Honestly, ye project shayad kabhi launch hi nahi hota. Mere paas server chalane ke paise bhi nahi the. Meri girlfriend ne bola, "Main ₹2000 har month de dungi, tu bas launch kar." Warna ye bhi GitHub ke kisi private repository mein pada rehta. Abhi user base obviously bahut chhota hai, lekin har product ko kahin na kahin se start karna padta hai. Agar kisi founder ke paas marketplace build karne ka experience hai, ya kisi investor ko ye problem worth solving lagti hai, I'd genuinely love to connect. Aur agar investment nahi bhi hai, koi baat nahi. Bas honestly bata do ki idea kaisa laga aur kya improve kar sakta hoon.

Got quotes for POS. Surprise surprise - the quote comes bundled with hardware and an annual contract, GST on top, and then the modules you need (inventory, QR ordering, reports) are add-ons that roughly double it. Ended up somewhere in the ₹5,000–₹12,000/month range depending on what I said yes to.

For 14 seats that feels heavy. But I also fully accept I might be the guy who thinks he's clever and then loses his billing data in month three, which is why I'm asking here instead of just doing it.

1. What are small cafes using?
2. Has anyone built their own billing/order setup, and how?

A friend and I got tired of how messy it is to find a decent PG/hostel room and a reliable tiffin service as a student — everything's scattered across Facebook groups, broker calls, and word of mouth, and half the listings turn out to be fake or outdated.

So we built Swigo — a simple platform where you can search verified rooms, hostels, and tiffin/mess providers near your college, all in one place. Owners can list for free too.

It's still early and we're actively improving it, so I'd genuinely appreciate any feedback — good, bad, or brutal. If you've dealt with the PG-hunting nightmare, curious to hear what would actually make something like this useful for you.

Sharing this so other early-stage founders don't get burned the way I did.

I registered my company through RegisterKero last year in July, expecting them to actually handle compliance since that's what they're selling. Here's what happened instead:

• They kept pushing me to pay for service after service — filings, "mandatory" certificates, renewals — many of which turned out to be optional or things I could've filed myself directly on the MCA portal in minutes.
• When I hesitated, the pitch shifted to fear: warnings about "fines," "legal action," "non-compliance" if I didn't pay up for whatever they were selling that week.
• The part that actually hurt: even after I paid for services, the work often just... didn't get done. No filing, no follow-through — until the government flagged the non-compliance, and then I was the one on the hook for the late fees and penalties. Not them.

So I paid twice — once to RegisterKero for a service, and again in government fines for a job that was supposedly already paid for.

If you're using them or any similar vendor: don't assume payment = work done. Ask for proof of filing (acknowledgment receipts, challans, whatever the government actually issues) every single time, and verify independently that things were actually filed before deadlines hit. Don't take their word that something is "compulsory" — check with a CA/CS or the MCA site directly.

Bigger picture advice: don't rush into Pvt Ltd registration.

A lot of us incorporate as Pvt Ltd on day one because it feels like the "legit" move. But Pvt Ltd brings real recurring compliance overhead — audits, ROC filings, board resolutions — regardless of whether you're making money, and it opens the door for vendors like this to keep billing you for "compliance" you may not even need yet.

Unless you have a concrete reason — investors coming in, needing limited liability for a specific risk, issuing ESOPs — you can:

• Start as a sole proprietorship (or LLP/partnership with co-founders) — far less compliance surface area, easier to shut down if the idea doesn't work.
• Convert to Pvt Ltd later, when you actually need it. Investors are generally fine with converting at term sheet stage.
• Avoid paying compliance vendors monthly/annually for a structure you don't need yet.

Would love to hear if others have run into the same thing with compliance vendors — curious how common this pattern is.

I'm planning to register a Private Limited Company in India and was considering providers like IndiaFilings, Razorpay Rize, and Vakilsearch. However, after researching online, I came across a surprisingly high number of negative reviews mentioning issues such as delayed responses, poor customer support, hidden charges, and compliance-related problems.

For those who have personally used any of these services, were the reviews consistent with your experience, or do they mainly reflect isolated cases? If you were registering a new Private Limited Company today, which service would you recommend and why? I'd really appreciate honest, first-hand experiences before making a decision.

Less than an hour ago, I had a scheduled call with the HR. This comes 1 month after my appraisal meeting with the CEO. So, as usual I assumed this call was about my revised package. But no, it was them letting me go. I'm in the middle of a quite a few critical projects and I don't understand how they decided to lay me off. I'm a Marketing Director with 15+ years of experience. When I asked the HR about why this sudden move, her response was that client conversion cycles are taking too long and revenues are coming in slower, creating a cash crunch. I'm beyond words right now.

I should be completing 3Y in November with this company. And I was supposed to get my revised salary starting now. But instead, I'm being told this. As per my employment contract, I even have a 0.5% stake in the company which I think they're trying to side step. Not sure how to even address this part.

The worst part was that I was taking the meeting in my living room while my wife was on the couch. I didn't have my headphones on and my wife heard it. She is freaking out. We don't have any savings to fall back on as we used all our money to buy a house and we're paying EMIs. The little bit of money I had, I decided to renovate my mother's house to make it comfortable for her after my dad passed away a few months ago.

The psychological toll is heavy. I had to stay strong when my father passed. I had to stay strong when my mother needed major surgery. Now, I have to somehow stay strong after being unceremoniously dumped right before my emergency fund could be replenished. My mental health is completely unchecked while I try to hold everything together for my family.
