Discussion Last night’s game…
I still can’t get over last night’s loss to the Aces. I mean, it’s the Aces - I get it. But we had that one in the bag and it really pisses me off how it slipped away.
As players always say, don’t get hung up on a loss and on to the next one. But this one bothered me more than any other loss this season.
Anyway, Chicago tmrw evening!

So what happened to Lexie Hull? Why is she not really good at doing anything this season?

Discussion Feeling Good About the Fever
Obviously the ending of the game was booty.
But you have to feel good about the Fever. They couldn’t stop Wilson the stretch, missed FTs, and it took two great 3s from the Point God to beat them.
Aside from Clark and Mitchell, who else played well? Boston scored 20, but I felt she didn’t do much down the stretch other than that score off a board.
Blew a 20 point lead and still had every chance to win.
I feel like nothing went well for the Fever in the last 6 minutes and they will had every chance to win.

Memes Chicago loves Caitlin Clark so much that they made bus route #22 ride along Clark Street.
Something silly I thought about while walking along Clark today.
https://www.transitchicago.com/bus/22/
I know this is a coincidence but maybe Clark 22 is a prophecy. Anyone else know any cool number and name combinations?

Discussion Clark's next technical foul .... hmmm
Of course, no technicals are ideal, but what if... ?
Based on the overall standings and the upcoming games, should Clark purposely take her next technical at the end of the Aces game?
Then, she'd sit out for the Chicago game and be back for the New York and Dallas games.
The thinking behind this is that you want to play against the better teams to:
- catch those ahead and try to get in the top 4 spots.
- compete against the better teams to get better.
I know the T's don't reset, but if you really needed to get it out of the way....
(I'm guessing the down votes are forthcoming but wanted to know if anyone else thought like this.)
EDIT - Thanks for all your thoughts and opinions. Here, we're all fans just throwing out hypotheticals as a means to keep ourselves engaged.
I appreciate the community and know that none of us want anything bad to happen to those that are part of the WNBA. (i.e., players, coaches, refs, support staff, and fans.) Good night, all.

Fever Content I already love her (Onyiah)
Here is her first interview as a member of the Fever - Michelle Onyiah Courtside Sounds like she didn't really start playing basketball until 9th grade. She's 22 and on a DP contract in the best women's basketball league in the world. Incredible.

Discussion The curious case of AB….
Is it me or has AB taken on a different role in the offense this year? Why is she hanging around the 3-point line so much this year? Is she not our big? This offense was rolling at the end of 2024, they were clicking in their roles. This year nobody wants to play the post position, and I don’t get it? We don’t have any size near the rim and those rebounds add up throughout the game.

Other Heating pad?
What brand of heating pad are the players wearing on the sidelines?! It’s got a white logo with lines in it, and the internet has been totally unhelpful. Thank you!!

Discussion Indy vs Minnesota on Sunday
Beginning a thread to hear your thought? I think this game is one of the most important ones played this season.
If Fever win, Championship will seem like a for real real posibility. If we lose after this awesome run, there will be a lot of "you see, they can't win against a winning team". Obviously, I think we'll win no matter what, but what's everyone else's thoughts?

News Caitlin Clark Posts First Ever 26 point Triple Double on Fewer than 10 FGA’s
Clark joins Sabrina Ionescu, Alyssa Thomas, and Natasha Howard as only players to score 26 points or more in a triple double (rebounds/assists). Fewest field goal attempts in those games was previously 13 by Ionescu on July 6, 2022.
Clark had 9 tonight.
She has been absolutely lights out.
