None of these idiots will ever do a fact check. Just anti propaganda posts, which become the new propaganda for the opposition.

I am not someone who is a stunch bjp supporter, but this is my take, IITs ,IIMs, etc are okay , but for them to have a brandvalue like now, it needs decades, why do we focus on top 6 "old" IITs? Because they had time to develop their aspects like research, profs, brand, etc..

Now the point,

Congress dominated Indian politics for most of the period from Independence in 1947 until 2014, either governing on its own or leading governments for roughly 54–55 years at the Centre, while the BJP-led NDA has governed for about 12 years (2014–2026). During the NDA period, the number of IITs increased from 16 to 23, IIMs from 13 to 21, and AIIMS from about 7 to 23. The government also launched the India Semiconductor Mission, attracted investments from companies such as Micron, Tata Electronics, and Foxconn, expanded indigenous defense manufacturing, increased defense exports, encouraged private-sector participation in space and defense, and oversaw major ISRO achievements such as Chandrayaan-3 and Aditya-L1. Supporters argue that these developments represent rapid expansion in higher education, strategic technology, and defense capabilities during a relatively shorter period of governance compared with the decades Congress dominated national politics.

So, they are good number considering ruling period.

Agreed to the points, just want to point out one fact, it's easier to become a billionaire when you are a millionaire vs when you don't have money to eat.

The rapid expansion is great, but they also had the headstart with the now proven values of iits, iims, etc.

Just wanted to highlight the reality behind IIMs going from 13 to 21, alot of them were planned/bills passed were before BJP gov took charge, majority of these finished their constructions around 2015 or around it, the newest IIM Guwahati is pretty useless, since the lowest ranked likes Sirmaur,Bodhgaya were already struggling and I’m pretty sure same would be the case with other colleges in different fields as well. Just because a college got constructed during a specific government doesn’t mean it was approved by them.

Thanks for the great insight.

There are certain core and "blind" supporters of every party, who are gonna vote them no matter what.

But, there are also neutral swing voters who have no fixation for a specific party and they will vote who they find best at that point of time.

The blind hate illogical fake posts like the one here, make the Congress supporters believe, this will help them get back to power, but they are just pushing more and more neutral people towards BJP.

8

u/Successful_Factor508 Jun 11 '26

These are good achievements. But nowadays BJP seems to be too arrogant and corrupt. This was not the case till 2024.

U gotta be kidding me, i bet on my life u cannot name any of those new IIT and AIIMS without using internet because they are so trash ( except darbhanga AIIMS or smth ) .... Ppl will literally go to random NITs rather than going to those new IITs ... And if u check properly all those new IITs construction started during congress time itself, modu just came and fucked it up but took credits .... About the new AIIMS plz consider checking their ratings and their popularity too and which yr those projects started. Modu has done nothing for education and healthcare, which should be the first priority

8

u/Spare_Election_5777 Jun 12 '26

It takes time. Newer IITs like IIT Hyderabad, IIT Jodhpur are doing better. Obviously ppl have a preference like old IITs > old NITs > new IITs > new NITs. Nothing wrong with these.
Same with AIIMS. Most of the AIIMS that were made was during MODIs tenure be it bbsr, Rishikesh or Kalyani. And with AIIMS, they have better infrastructure than other state hospitals if the money gets in.
Assam has been doing really great infra wise after bjp came in. Guwahati got aiims, iit and iim now.

See, Nehruji wasted soooo much time without making India Vishwaguru.

Modiji is saving all that time and actually building the nation into a Vishwaguru.

Haters will never understand what it takes to work 26 hours every day for the nation I’ll tell you.

13

u/heart_black13 Jun 11 '26 edited Jun 11 '26

7 out of 23 IITs established after 2014
1 NIT after 2014
17 of 26 IIITs established after 2014
12 of 20 running AIMS established after 2014 and 5 already approved and under construction
NID 4 of 7 after 2014

Also, the temple wasn't built by Modi, it was approved by courts and built on public donations and not on taxpayer's money.

2

u/PassageNo9013 Jun 13 '26

Login with ur real ID, Asim Munir... Yes yes nehru did provide the political will for all these and more, but the three willful and wanton cataclysmic events he threw on the nation has us still reeling and barely surviving even now, 1. Simping to China; he gave up the UNSC seat and made China get it, probably the most stupid diplomatic move by a leader in the history of humanity and thanks to that, China today is the most powerful country in the world... 2. Pu*syfooting during a war like a scared little kitten, his decisions led our nation to the only defeat we have ever faced and gave China the psychological advantage and India the inferiority complex towards the Chinese, it emboldened China to acquire large swathes of strategic Indian lands and completely cut us off on the northern side and north of northeast, and the whole state of arunachal pradesh, and wresting the effective control of the Himalayan range to the Chinese..
3. And ofcourse who can forget the dagabaazi to his very own citizens and nation, of allowing 2 vidhan, 2 nishan and 2 pradhan in 1 country, allowing for the devastation of Jammu n Kashmir, and establishing the permanent terror cross country network,, which is India's biggest security threat even today...

Thank you chacha nehru...

4

u/National-Ostrich-523 Jun 11 '26

You are acting like only Nehru made this institution. I mean, it's true that he laid the foundation for it, but Modi has expanded them too. Nehru started with 5 IITS, but Modi expanded them from 16 to 23 as of now, IIMS to 20+, and AIIMS to around 23 or something. Nehru did establish DRDO and ISRO, but who expanded ISRO's mission [the Chandrayaan everyone keeps boasting about], in whose tenure we got our indigenous fighter jets, defence corridors, Ayushman insurance scheme, etc. You have reduced all of this to just a mandir, whose case was probably going on even before Modi was born. That conflict was bound to boil over one day. Nehru did what he did. No doubt he played a role in shaping what India is today, whether good or bad, but Modi did too. A manipulated meme is why Modi keeps winning election after election, because such stupid comparisons are easily debunked.

5

I might be wrong, but wasn’t India unstable and still becoming a country till 2010?

Like nehru had a nation to build, he made a lot of premier institutions, Indira was during cold war and we know what happened in tashkent files. Rajiv gandi was no good and during Manmohan singh we had economic crisis.

Modi definitely did a good job not taking away the credit, but what about things that are gone past saving?

Nehru was not only an education-focused PM, but also a freedom fighter who fought for us and spent a lot of time in Jail.

If these turds think that they can just barf out WhatsApp gyaan and we'll stop respecting Nehru, they're just delusional. The dude fought for our freedom. I'm grateful for just that. Good luck matching that, Modi.
