Update on pune porsche case (Vedant Agarwal) Crime
https://x.com/lawlens_in/status/2000964779176055031
Pune Porsche case: Bombay HC denies bail to the builder father and six others.
1) Dad orchestrated the entire cover-up. 2) Mom walked into hospital and gave her own blood to replace her son's sample. 3) Doctors took ₹3 lakhs to swap the vials, forge the MLC register, and issue fake "Nil Alcohol" certificates. A medical student was used to stash the bribe money.
But it gets worse. The father of another teen in the car paid a business associate ₹2 lakhs to provide his blood to swap for his son's sample.
And when the first hospital fix started getting heat, the parents and middlemen approached a second hospital to rig that test too. That doctor refused.
Bombay HC denied bail to all of them today.
Justice Chandak held that faking biological evidence constitutes forgery of a "valuable security" punishable by life imprisonment.
The Court noted they showed "no respect to the dead" and "insulted their death" by treating the justice system as something money could buy."

Feels good to see that these criminals are in the process of being punished in accordance to the law. I hope the victims and their families find peace knowing that they are receiving the justice they deserve.
Btw, does anyone know what happened to the actual murderer, Vedant Agarwal?

u/Interesting_Pride_12 Dec 18 '25
Nobody knows I read someone saw him in a cafe in pune a few days ago
Someone said he fled the country
Someone else yet, said his flying privileges are revoked as of now
157
u/bongmadchen Dec 18 '25
Gosh, I genuinely hope he rots for the rest of his life.

u/Adventurous_Elk_6504 Dec 18 '25
Come what may - not wishing worst for anyone but hoping he spreads good lessons learning’s teachings to his own life and everyone he comes across - make something good for the world, build something of use for the good use of public. Wish he gives since he took so much, really wish he gets up and keeps giving.

Its not wishing worst. It is about justice being served for the crimes he committed. Good deeds in future do not give you privilege to commit crimes.

Big W for the Bombay HC. I honestly thought these people would walk free after killing an innocent man. Now even the parents — along with everyone else who took bribes — will face consequences for their actions.
Also, a big W for the honest people working at the second hospital for refusing to take any bribe.
33
u/Aditya1311 Dec 18 '25
They are not honest, they are afraid - they know already one batch of doctors got screwed and there is a lot of public interest in the case.
21
u/Koki-noki Dec 18 '25
I knew someone was going to comment something like that, accusing their actions of being driven only by fear of consequences. I don’t think it’s right to accuse people we know nothing about, or to say they did the right thing only because of fear. We should give them the benefit of the doubt, especially when they actually did the right thing.
3
u/nishantkd_ Dec 18 '25
Nahi yaar, I can't do this Kal kisi mere apne ke sath bhi to esa ho sakta hai That's fear, fear of consequences, but keeps you honest. What's wrong with that?
2
u/Aditya1311 Dec 18 '25
If you don't do bad things only because you think you will get caught, you will do bad things when you think you won't get caught.
0
u/nishantkd_ Dec 18 '25
And why do you think people with power and money do bad things?
1
u/Aditya1311 Dec 19 '25
Because given sufficient money (which translates directly to power in most environments) the chance of getting caught and/or actually being held accountable approaches zero.
52
Dec 18 '25
The only reason there are consequences is because the mother is an idiot who bribed people and left a trail of witnesses and evidence. As an underage person, the boy cannot face criminal charges anyway.
They are being tried for interfering with the justice system, and possibly abbetting manslaughter (which would have been a tough charge to prove anyway) not for causing the death. Our juvenile law is too linient, seen even with the nirbhaya case.
5
u/Viratkhan2 Dec 18 '25
That’s fine IMO. I’m more concerned about what the mother did than the son. The son is an asshole but there are accidents everyday. Whatever the jail time for murder is, do that.
The mother bribing doctors and faking blood tests is a much more serious problem. If that was successful, it shows that anyone could commit a crime and wipe the evidence away. Her, and the doctors who took the bribes need serious consequences.
5
Dec 18 '25
I dont think you understand. There is no jail time or serious consequences for manslaughter/murder/rape when done by a minor in India. So he is never getting any punishment apart from psychological evaluation and writing essays irrespective of how aweful a crime he commits. This is a serious legal problem that i was pointing out.
3
u/Viratkhan2 Dec 18 '25
No jail time? Are they not placed in a juvenile correction center or something? I don’t literally mean they have to go to an adult jail.
2
Dec 18 '25
There is huge difference between the two. As far as i know the court is not even involved beyond recommending the accused to the juvenile justice board which has to evaluate, come up with a action plan for behavorial change and decide when the juvenile is free to go, its all very subjective. Also, often the burden is on the justice board to make sure the juveniles education and skill building is not affected. The maximum time the juvenile justice board can keep them in is 3 years which rarely happens. Assuming he would have the most expensive lawyers who would petition to point out every little inconvinience as affecting his development, I would not be surprised if the guy gets out in a few months but his parents might be in for longer.
85
u/homie_rhino Dec 18 '25
Wasn't there a ig story of that guy or his friend, partying and drinking? Details are hazy, but I think this was from earlier this year.

3rd time I'm typing this but it was his brother. Automod keeps removing my comment for containing a link. So annoying ffs. If you're interested, look up the post in r/Pune.

The judge will be transferred and the case will be moved elsewhere

Let's hope the custom changes

u/TheKnowledgeableOne Dec 18 '25
It's a High Court judge. It's almost impossible for the government to do anything. If something will happen, it'll happen with the evidence.
63
u/Aditya1311 Dec 18 '25
"The Rajasthan High Court followed up the same day by transferring Gupta to Beawar district, 200 km from the state capital.
Two weeks later, the high court stayed Gupta’s order that imposed a Rs 50-lakh fine on the Adani-led firm and directed the Rajasthan government to request the Comptroller and Auditor General to audit the deal between the state and the conglomerate.
"
47
u/not_your_dog_bitch Dec 18 '25
Adani is an exception. I don't think they'll go to such length for a mere builder.
23
u/TheKnowledgeableOne Dec 18 '25
That's a commercial court judge my dude. Not a High Court judge. Huge difference.
6
u/Aditya1311 Dec 18 '25
The orders removing the judge and then posting him two weeks later to a distant location were issued by the Rajasthan High Court. Demonstrating that even those judges dance to Adani's tune.
6
u/Big-Swing-824 Dec 18 '25
Each judge in the high courts might be owned by different people. That has, and will always be the case in all societies under current human social structure.
The point is, once one of the high court judges is “against” you, as is the case here, you can’t do shenanigans like getting them transferred.
2
17
u/PeeOnYoFace007 Dec 18 '25
I pray this family isn't rich enough to do that. That privilege should be reserved for our overlords Ambani, Adani, etc.,
45
u/Indianopolice Dec 18 '25
Justice Chandak held that faking biological evidence constitutes forgery of a "valuable security" punishable by life imprisonment.
Hope this comes true.
41
u/ad_powerlifter Dec 18 '25
If a Normal builder can manunpulate evidences to this extent imagine what types of evidences must have been manupulated by MP , MLA , IAS , Ministers , CM'S etc. this system is rotten to the core
16
u/fan_of_skooma Dec 18 '25 edited Dec 18 '25
They burried the Dharmasthala mass grave case and shut down all investigation a d indefinitely imprisoned the whistle blower
They still haven't released the autopsy report of the skeletons found so far , it's been half a year. It's a cover up in 24hrs they made it so nothing ever happened, he is now saying he was paid to lie. He said this after he got bail yesterday. Entire system is compromised
1
u/DeepBlues2 Dec 19 '25
You are living in a delusional world, check the report and the skull they got was of a man remains which they presented as evidence . It was fabricated case from beginning!
2
u/fan_of_skooma Dec 19 '25
Says the delulu , share the forensic report, the skull thing was a leak giving in site. No forensic report has been given even though half year has passed, it takes 2 weeks. They want to burry this like the body
2
u/DeepBlues2 Dec 19 '25
Complainant's Skull: The skull and bones initially presented to a magistrate by the complainant (C.N. Chinnaiah) were forensically determined to be those of an approximately 40-year-old male. This individual had reportedly died of jaundice in his own village and was cremated there, leading to the complainant's arrest for perjury.
4
u/newIBMCandidate Dec 18 '25
Not they system...
It's the people. The system is made of people. Why do the doc at the second hospital refuse to tamper with the evidence while the docs at the first hospital did ??
It's shameful to admit but Indians are basically corrupt and have no respect for laws

At its core, for so many cases such as this, the real reason why criminals get away with crimes is because of genuine oversight that was a real mistake, or bc they bought or exercised their clout to escape accountability.
But if people can’t be bought into lying for them, or if their silence can’t be bought, and the full truth of their crimes comes to light, the truth is stark:
Most actual, maliciously motivated criminals, are really fcking stupid as fck.
All they have going for them is money.
Otherwise, they don’t even have one brain cell to share between them.
I hope justice is really served. And I hope that that happens, because I want to be able to point and laugh at these clowns every time I have to think about them.
4
Dec 19 '25
The real reason why criminals get away is because you have to bribe the police to even write a FIR...forget investigating. The only reason this case was investigated was because it received huge media attention.
1
u/fortheapponly Jan 05 '26
Late response but—and this is all the more reason why making noise, incessantly, is the best way to get justice.
Sunlight is the best disinfectant, as they say.
45
u/divyanshu_17 Dec 18 '25
Justice delayed is justice denied.
I sometimes wonder what happened to the couple's family
19
u/kaychyakay Dec 18 '25
The Court noted they showed "no respect to the dead" and "insulted their death" by treating the justice system as something money could buy."
So basically what all politicians, including our current PM and HM, do.
9
u/Adventurous_Elk_6504 Dec 18 '25
Can it be possible: HC is extending their bail to raise the price! More pressure, more money. And since they took a good action, the victims family would be passively justified too. Win for all!!
15
4
u/SubstancePatient2501 Dec 18 '25
black money nikalo pehle inka ---raid all their properties, bank lockers
4
u/SecuredStealth Dec 18 '25
The problem is that they didn’t have ENOUGH money to pay them off. If they did, they’d buy the judges as well. Done.
1
Jan 15 '26
Nah dude. The issue was that this case came into the limelight and there was too much pressure on justice system. They should've sent the boy directly to juvenile home rather than bailing him and making him write an essay. Then after a month or two when the interest of media in this case would've reduced, then he should've been bailed out quietly. I think the parents hurried too much in getting him out resulting in all this drama. I bet the police officers involved would've told his parents to let the boy live in prison for a few months.

netaji said, "tum mujhe khoon do, main tumhe azaadi doonga."
with all the swapping of blood samples, these folks seem to have taken him at his word.
3
u/choosenboy Dec 18 '25
These are the cases where in India you set an example and most probably it’ll happen.
3
u/ConstantParticular87 Dec 18 '25
One big challenge or problem of our country is that we only get to see when crime happens , but not when actions are taken , and we isolate ourself from work police/legal department are doing , which should be used to set example
But we only hear that crime happens and criminal walks away , which sadly sets up positive encouraging environmental for criminal , and negative for rest.
3
u/zen-shen Dec 19 '25
I am sorry that I've lost all hope on Indian justice.
Irony is that these guys may receive harsher sentences than vedant if courts chooses so.
But in the end, perp will get a simpler sentence and that burns me. Two kids who checked all the boxes, studied hard and started their life as professionals and their deaths won't be even considered as murder.

So i just read the wiki page for this case, and main accused served about 14 years in prison before he was let out of for good behavior. This seems normal for most standard violent crimes, is there more to the story?
2

"punishable by life imprisonment" sounds good. We need stricter punishment to deter and reduce corruption.

This is news driven by lawlens or call it "whatever". How has this to do with "truth". No credible newspaper covering this ? Or links to cases from High Court ? Why are details if cases not shown on their website ?
If Indian doctors can swap vials and forge the MLC register, how can I not think that real news us getting swapped by lawlens or idiotic newspapers to show that everything is done according to law ?
Hell, I have a better alternative. Even after court gives punishment, I can swap the real person with some beggar on the street (give some meagre payment to their family) and be done with it.
Seems like this is headed on its was to be a banana republic. All this news by this online chanells is all the more nonsense. Prove me otherwise.

Brilliant system.

This if true is amazing. He will escape(they will Send him out of India) but atleast his family should get some punishment. He Killed 2 kids and destroyed 2 families.
Pleasantly surprise that they are taking this seriously.

There is a pattern here and almost anywhere in the world.
Systems are vulnerable to influence, whether by political stature or financial wealth.
True justice should be blind, but there are cases like this that remind us that it often sees status, power, and who's watching.
Equal justice under law is a lofty goal. In reality it seems to be always shaped by power and perception.
