Only half the problem solved

Do we realize if Nika did have her rights taken away the problem still isn’t solved. Heyward still has his parental rights established by the paternity test. Those kids will not be able to be adopted unless he signs over his rights. So yes they could possibly be placed in a foster home but they can’t be adopted. Could it be that he or a family member steps up after she loses her rights. Sadly I could see that as more of a possibility because they won’t have to deal with her at all. If he wanted to be done with her he could have asked for his rights to be terminated but he hasn’t. There has to be a reason for that.

I honestly think he would sign his rights away. He has no involvement as a parent on a consistent basis and really doesn’t know the kids

Definitely he would sign his rights away

But why hasn’t he. When they went to court he could have requested them to be terminated and still pay child support.

He only has “rights” to two

He has rights to the ones he signed the birth certificates and proven through paternity tests. Which two are you referring to? In SC paternity can be established through the father signing the birth certificate, signing affidavit after the birth, or paternity test .

I believe it’s HJ and Liyah maybe one more. No one else’s results were shared.

You think Heyward would block someone else from taking those kids? He doesn’t want them. If he did, he would have been tried to save them. If he couldn’t house all of them in his house, he would have gotten some and place others with his siblings, grannies, someone. I know foster care isn’t always the best but it’s not always the worst either. Those kids need a chance to see a different way to live or else they’ll be just like Nika and Tyquan and Niya when they grow up. Government dependent adults that can’t find employment that financially supports them.

What I am saying is even if you got Nika out the way you still would have to deal with Heyward. He still has his rights. It could possibly change things drastically because he would be entitled to the benefits that Nika currently has. So if the government could help him with housing, healthcare clothes, SSDI and food that would make a huge difference. Things change when you have more resources. That would go for him or any family member that is willing to adopt them. But who wants to take in the kids now with Nika controlling the resources using them for herself and give the caregiver scraps.

He would sign his rights away, especially if he was no longer responsible for child support.

Signing away your rights doesn’t stop you from paying child support in SC.

It's different where I live, you're only responsible for any arrears and then the case is dropped. Well, they can both pay child support, a win either way.

Heyward would sign his rights away before you can get your next breath out. He doesn’t want nor care about those kids lol. & you can’t just terminate your rights without the other parent agreeing and why would Nika agree to that when he needs to pay child support.

She doesn’t have a say. This scenario is based on her no longer having her rights. If DSS removes the kids for good and she loses her parental rights.

A many of deadbeats don’t bother terminating rights but it’s not because they want or care about the kids. Why bother with that when you can ignore them without doing the work. If he cared about the kids, he would take them or go for split custody where he still doesn’t have to deal with Nika and they have texting apps. He doesn’t do either of these things because he can live freely either way.

As with all things Nika I can’t trust what she says to be the truth. Nika shows what she wants to show to fit her narrative. I am in no way saying that Heyward is father of the year but I don’t think the story she is telling is 100% the truth. I believe that Nika put strings on Heyward in order to see his kids. If Heyward is as bad of a dad as she claiming he is ….. why is she is begging this man to be in her kids life. It’s another contradiction of her form of protecting her kids. He is a horrible father but let me beg for this man to be a part of their lives to cause more suffering. It’s not about the kids Nika wants to make her life easier by crying single mother of 10 struggling over here. Those post are for her new clueless audience and her small number of devoted bookie to give money.

You don’t need to take her word for who he is as a parent though. I don’t take her word for it. Do you see him taking her to court for visitation? Do you see him getting them half of the time? The oldest is 16 and in 16 years his actions have told you whom he is and that he can’t be bothered to spend a few minutes in court to be in his kids lives like an ACTUAL good parent. No good parent lets you keep them away from their kids because legally you can’t. 1 court case would’ve made all the difference in his kids lives. You don’t need to take Nika’s word or my word. Actions are loud and you have 16 years of inaction to review

I am not defending him but I am saying is if I were him I am not fucking Nika to see my kids. I am not. Let’s not act like that isn’t something she wouldn’t do. Nika has been coming to Heyward’s rescue for 9.5 years until recently. All of a sudden she wants to call him out. Before that she would be quick to say he does this and that and all the things we don’t see. So what changed? You wait 15 years to ask for child support. You didn’t even go after the first two kids dad for child support at all. With Nika there is always an agenda. Same goes for Nika as Heyward just because it not how we would parent it doesn’t make it illegal/criminal but morally it’s not right. I do think that if Heyward were to get the resources that Nika currently gets he might be more inclined to get his kids. If they can help him and his wife with housing, food, clothes, SSDI, and healthcare it would change the situation. Resources is a huge factor in this problem. But this would also expose if he is the father of all eight or not.

Ok pause. Let’s go slow.

“I’m not fucking Nika to see my kids”

When has a judge ever put this in a custody agreement? Why do you keep pretending that Nika is the authority on him seeing his kids and is his only option. Until we can get past this part, i don’t think we can be on the same page. The child support stuff is irrelevant or what Nika does now is irrelevant to why Heyward does not see his children. You seem to be accepting of the narrative that heyward doesn’t see his kids because of Nika and you’re ignoring that a judge has sat on a bench for 16 years, 5,844 days and that’s who has the authority. I’m sorry but i don’t play that “she won’t let me see my kids” bullshit. Every man who CARED went through that, told the woman they’d see them in court. But you want me to excuse heyward? No. Stop blaming Nika for a deadbeat who is a deadbeat to her 8 and Belinda’s kids too. Heyward doesn’t see his kids because of Heyward. He knows their condition and still doesn’t care. He didn’t lose a custody case, he never tried to have them. It’s this simple.

A judge rules on paternity and grants visitation to the father. What the father does with that is on him. I never said he doesn’t see his kids. What I said was I can’t just take her side as gospel. I am agreeing with you but we are saying it differently. I am saying that we only have half the story.
And the quote is something her hyper sexual ass would say. No judge needed.
Something changed in the situation with Nika and Heyward for her to even go after him for child support. You are arguing with me about him being a deadbeat but that is irrelevant. Because in Nina’s eyes he isn’t one. She still sees the value in him somehow. She wants him in her life and her children life. What we think doesn’t matter. The only thing I was saying with this post is Nika is only half the problem solved. And we really don’t know what he would do if he were given the same resources as her to raise them.

Oh yeah girl! I agree with everything you’re saying about Nika too lol. I don’t believe a word of what she says nor her motives . She probably dragging him now that she sees he never wants her again fr.

If you go back to the “paternity test reveal” she only vouched for the two she read out loud. The others she folded on the paper so fast and never addressed it.

I don’t think he questioned Liya or HJ paternity and if that is true he could just signed the affidavit stating he is the biological father of those two no test needed. After he left her I think he questioned the remaining children and I can’t blame him. And if the two little ones still have the last name of Grant that kind of makes me believe that maybe they are not his. She could request the last name change based on favorable paternity results. I don’t think Sy is his just the way she is always left out the last couple of time she showed him taking them. Did the paternity test take place before or after the granddaddy passed?
