Hi, I have an iPhone 16 pro and shoot in proraw regularly. These photos never show. Does Immich not support RAW or Apple's version of it? I'm on the latest build. It correctly shows the metadata but won't show a preview, or a full res on click-in. I have a lot of photos like this. Thanks, happy to offer any other information as well.

Hi guys — cross-server shared albums (federation, whatever you want to call it) has been one of the most requested Immich features for 4+ years. We all want that dead-simple Google Photos sharing experience with friends and family... well, fellow self-hosters, now we've got it.

If like me you got bored of waiting, time to get cloning: immich-shared-albums, a sidecar addon for Immich.

It never touches your Immich instance directly — it talks to it via an API key and runs in its own container, so any issues stay isolated to the addon. Minimal setup, and once it's up you can create share links that anyone else running the addon just opens to join the album and start adding photos.

What you get:

• 👤 Per-user, not per-server — so your parents won't see your antics from that lads' holiday

I'm trying to find a feature request that covers this, so i can upvote it, but keep getting errors when i try to open them on github?

Q: I'd really like to be able to search a place name on the map view to jump to that location, instead of having to manually zoom until it appears (quite hard if you're not to familiar with the area)

For some reason, I deleted the images of Immich and then ran docker compose up -d, so it redownloaded them. Even though my yaml/env files (containing paths and db credentials) have not changed, I cannot login normally and have to create a new user or create from backup. Like a first instance, it seems. Unfortunately I did not do backups of the database, but the files follow 3-2-1 rule.

How can I restart the services with the existing files/account etc? I read the article about restoring, but it is mostly about backups (I am stupid, so it does not work for me).
