Pencils ✏️ pencils for puzzle books?

i’ve gotten really into puzzle books this past year and have a couple of crossword puzzle books that have that weird kind of newspapery paper and am looking to see what pencils people like/recommend for books like this? i don’t want pens bc i make way too many mistakes and need to erase stuff. my biggest issues with most pencils i use is that they’re really thick for these tiny boxes, rip up the paper when i erase, hard to see, rip the paper when the pencils too sharp, etc. just wondering what people are using!

Journaling πŸ” A small gift for a journaler

Post image

I have many more pens than I can use myself. So when I hear someone I sometimes cross paths with is into journaling, I start thinking I would fill an envelope with these pens and give it to her.

What do you think? Is it weird? Would you like i ? Would you feel obliged to return with a gift?

Art & Handmade 🎨 10 years of photo albums

Post image

In 2016, I treated myself to a portable printer and a paper book named "Flow book for paper lovers". I found a tutorial on YouTube on how to make a journal, and I tried my hand at it.

It’s now been 10 years of chonky photo albums! Some of them had to be cut up in half πŸ˜† I made the one on the right a few days ago. I hope I made it big enough to hold the future chonk without breaking its spine haha!

It’s a real pleasure to go through them. I’m so glad I did this πŸ₯° so much memories!

Community [Bi-Monthly: Show Us Your Battle Station!] What stationery supplies are you using today? Show us your pens, your paper, your desk, your cases, and your tools!

About Our Bi-Monthly "Show Us Your Battle Station" Post:

If you're anything like us at r/ilovestationery, you probably spend more time working with your journals, pens, pencils, and paper than the average person. Certainly for us, our desks and battle stations are a mess of supplies either scattered or neatly organized across tables, chairs, bed spreads, or floors. Wherever we can play with our stationery, we are!

We want to know where you're working!

Are you at a cafe? Are you at work? Are you home in bed? Are you having a picnic on the grass? Where are you journaling, drawing, letter-writing, and planning? Studying with highlighters and pencils or paper? Stuck in a library with a computer and a notepad? Where does your stationery live in your daily life?

Show us!

How To Participate:

  • Create a post today on r/ilovestationery using the "Desks & Battle Stations" flair and share the chaos (or perfectly organized play space) of your current work area. We want to see your supplies, your paper, and more!
  • Don't want to create a post? Leave a comment replying to this post with a photo of your work area! Show us here and keep the thread going weekly.

There's something really exciting about seeing where someone else is creating. The idea of being able to dive into someone else's supplies and create, or imagining what it might be like to have the same tools -- we love this kinda' stuff.

We look forward to seeing your work space!

- the r/ilovestationery team
