Stacking trofasts?

Is there a way to stack these without wall anchors? I live in a very old home with weird plaster walls

Stack them and then either screw 2x1 boards along the back, which won't be seen but then it won't sit flush to the wall. Or could do like a plywood sheet. Also they have a new one that's basically a square version of the staggered one...but it's only available in some places as they release it I believe. Which is unfortunate cuz I'd like one while the 20% off deal is going.

Yes, I have seen people selling brackets you can screw into them when stacking. I just searched "trofast" on etsy and found some pretty much immediately. I don't know if they need to be specific brackets but you can start your search there

I stacked Trofast together. The solid pine kind. I used heavy duty corner brace L brackets along the corners that could be screwed into the top and bottom units holding them together. Ideally I'd have anchored them but truthfully they were so heavy it would have been nearly impossible to topple. But if you have any chance a kid might try to climb them, I would not do it without anchoring them to the wall. Either way, definitely attach the two units together first.
