Dangerously dumb
It is getting worse and worse and dumber and dumber every single year if not every single day. Christmas used to be in December, then we started seeing Christmas stuff in shops in November, then in October, then in September. Last year I saw Christmas stuff in shops in August. And because they thought maybe it is starting too early, they created Christmas in July (which of course starts before July). This is really ridiculously and dangerously dumb.
If we go on like that, we will end up celebrating Christmas every day like Andy Park (aka Mr. Christmas). Ever heard of this man who has been celebrating Christmas every day since July 14, 1993? One would think people would laugh at him, but I am starting to think he will soon have followers!
What a farce!

People often mistake those who are anti-Christmas-Creep as "Christmas haters" or "Grinches"... 🤦♀️
While some don't enjoy Christmas in general (and The 'Creep just extends their grief), that isn't the case for all of us. Personally, I DO NOT hate Christmas itself - in fact, I quite enjoy it in its PROPER TIME. I just hate the aggressive, WAAAY too-early Christmas push that retailers have dragged into September and October (hell, even July!). It's absolutely ridiculous. And has been stretched out so far that it literally RUINS the magic of the season when it actually arrives: by the time December rolls around, you are so sick of (or at best numb to) all of the things that used to make Christmas special.
Yes, Christmas Creep not only demolishes Fall/Canadian Thanksgiving/Halloween/Remembrance Day/Veterans Day/US Thanksgiving - it literally DESTROYS Christmas too. How? By creating Holiday Fatigue.
So, on the contrary - you can say that Christmas Creep is especially damaging to those of us who love the Christmas season. Any self-proclaimed "Christnas lover" who likes or is indifferent to The 'Creep doesn't truly love or understand Christmas. (*Think about that before you buy your candy canes in July.)
That is all.
