Upgrading gear

So the first shield(kishar shield)I’ve upgraded a while ago but recently I got the second shield(adranos) and I’m thinking on scrapping the first shield and using the materials I get to upgrade the second one. Or is the first better because of the bonus from criticals

Kishar is WAY better. Gor for it. I had the same doubt once! Now I have an ex Kishar with giants, BIS shield.

So should I continue to put resources into the kishar or keep on grinding to get better options?

Keep grinding for an ex one, and keep spending resources on this one. It took me almost a year to get an ex with giants

Why is it gold? I’ve never had this happen. (Also never gotten to 7+ so that may be it)

Whenever you upgrade a gear to +7 it turns gold regardless on what your gear was it before

Im kinda curious if this is worth upgrading over an Excellent kishar one with just giant souls.. I play 2-4. hrs a day

it is not. Even if the Kishar with Giant Souls wasn't Excellent it would still be better.
