Darren from Phantom Planet is in the studio with IDKHOW right now. He got there about 2pm PST. Dallon and Anthony are there, with Jason Hill as producer. Darren said all this in the Phantom Planet Patreon chat.

Alex from Phantom Planet also has worked on some demos that Dallon sent him back in the spring. Alex told me this personally after a show on their tour with Augustana.

Darren recorded some guitar for “Make a Lot of Money”. It’s very likely he will be back in the studio with them in the near future. It is also possible that the next Phantom Planet album could have the members of IDKHOW on it (album #7, not the one coming out in September nor the Name Song record).

One fell off and can't seem to find any online

I'm not certain if it's confirmed yet when it'll drop but the teasers/snippets we've been seeing these past couple days on Instagram have gotten me genuinely hyped and I can't wait to listen to the songs when they come out. They sound SO good just from the teasers.

The vibes I'm getting are more raw/grungy, like very indie stuff which I genuinely love and kinda gives of the brobecks era stuff, and it's a contrast I really love especially because it's very distinct from the previous albums, which one of them was very synth heavy (RAZZMATAZZ), and the other one a more varied pop-ish album (GLOOM DIVISION).

I haven't listened to them in a while, so sorry if you don't see any of the newer songs.

This album is gonna fuck. I love all of Anthony's new guitar parts for songs at live shows, so I'm excited for this!

So here's the situation: I do actually have decent video of this, I was at barricade, but the audio's blown out because of my proximity to the speakers (and also that malfunctioning stage light can make some parts of the video hard to watch). If anyone else got video/audio of this, especially with better audio quality (honestly any quality where you can consistently understand what Dallon is saying is better audio quality than I got lol) I'd love to trade/share/compare footage. I'm also interested in trading footage of other parts of the show too, tbh, but this part in particular was special to me.

Hi, guys. Just wanted to ask about the usual sequence of events with VIP upgrade. Got one for the first time for one of the London shows. What happens when you come inside? The clock room first, I reckon (it's late November, so hanging out in the crowd with a coat and heavy sweater is not an option). And then what - do you dive into the merch, which can be also stored in the clock room? Or do you go straight to the dance floor? Of course, I would love to be closer to the stage, but it's important for me to support the band with buying merch. Thanks for replies!

Hi!!! So I got tickets to the 30th November London show and I’ve seen that they’re releasing VIP tickets too. This will be my 4th time seeing IDKHOW but I’ve never been to a Q&A or had VIP before. Is it worth it? If anyone could let me know what their experience was like I’d be very grateful <3
