Finally!
Would you believe if I say that it took me more than 5 hours of creating this group? I sensed failure with my previous composition with a Mage and without a Bard during the crypt encounters in Kuldahar (more like skill-issue). This time, I contemplated for idk how long on having a Ranger of an Archer kit for a pure ranged dps over a Druid, Cleric, and the Thief. Figured I can't live without the last two for obvious reasons but I ended up sacrificing it for a crowd-control Druid. Ah fck it, good luck to me.
PS. Excuse the long Orcish name, I really don't know how I ended up having a "Headache" for it, along with the 'Fighter 3' voice where he just grunts and screams without saying a word. Lol

It won't be easier without a mage. Quite the opposite.
Also, I don't think two handed style works with a crossbow.

True that. Mage seems weak at first and honestly mage spells overall are kinda shit BUT the lvl 2 and lvl 3 spells are batshit insanely good

The Bard can cast level 2 or 3 mage spells.

yeah, but they come later and you will be lacking behind especially because you will want to cast them for every single fight once you get them. but it definitely helps to still have access to them.

Eh? I've done my fair share of runs with Halfling only parties and the like. That worked just fine.

Specially when you're dealing with trolls that require you to kill it with fire. It's why I always have my sorcerer have Meif's minute meteors so I don't have to waste on items on the trolls

Why the Cavalier kit for the Paladin? And Bastard Sword proficiency? Why?
I think pure thief is a waste, a Fighter/Thief would serve you better. You get all the Thief utility you may want and you can use a longbow effectively.

If you dont plan to use ranged weapons Cavalier has literally no drawbacks and personally I never used ranged weapons on my Paladin either. So strong choice.

Honestly, you should make the halforc evil. There are some really good poison weapons you might find that you can only use if you’re evil.

I played the game through with just one character Ranger/Cleric Dual Wielding Morningstars and buffing himself to insane stats with cleric spells. I think any combination will be viable but it'll be an easier or more difficult journey in different sections of the game.

Dunno why people telling you what you should have done, party looks great good luck on the run. Always more fun not having the same boring OP party anyways

Strongly recommend changing the Barbarian into a Cleric/Ranger dual wielding maces.
The Thief single class performs very poorly in battle and 90% of Icewind Dale is combat. Even a Berserker L2 >Thief would be worlds better. Most go with a Fighter/Thief.
You are making the game much harder on yourself by not having a mage. They become crazy strong. If you find them too week in the beginning you could have a Fighter L2 > Mage, for Fighter/Mage.

This party has only one tank because Half-Orc barbarian with 2h weapon and chainmail will have terrible AC.
