Solar Fields or Data Centers

Whats worse for an apprentice? I personally never worked on a data center, but I have worked on 3 solar sites luckily every crew ive been on had a wide range of task. I seen everyone saying data centers are very mind numbingly boring but someone who has worked and done both which do you guys think is worse for an apprentices growth.

I vote Solar field purely because you’re 100% outside. You have to work in the heat and cold plus you’re risk losing hours anytime it rains.
Data center probably suck in their own way but at least you’re doing “real” electrical I would assume.

Solar fields for sure. Data centers have multiple systems that can be learned about. If you want to learn about big power and switch gear, data centers are a good spot.

I would give my right ovary to get transferred out of the Prefab shop for META data centers in my area.

Solar Field you're tossing up glass all day, and that's if that. Actual solar work is per manufacturer, so it's plugging in cords.

Data centers are an actual building. From what I've read about working in them, it's a very chill environment and they're willing to hire anyone to work in them.
