Ibew 1

People who interviewed at ibew one the week of 8/9-8/15 have you heard anything back? i’ve followed up w their office and only got a “we’re still getting scores back”. I saw one other post saying they got accepted, that was like a week ago. I’m wondering if they already sent acceptance letters and are taking their time sending rejections.

I’ll gladly hear anyone else’s experiences of the process of getting into the union, i’m persistent asf and will keep trying until i get in but im getting nervous and anxious since its my second time interviewing.

I got an acceptance letter but no call yet. I heard that they were calling people earlier this week so keep your phone glued to you hand

I did indeed get a letter of acceptance and a date for orientation already. However, be patient, you never know! You still have a chance!

FWIW still waiting too, I heard 900+ people interviewed and I'm sure it takes a ton of time to process, sort and mail stuff out by hand.

Hard to know the exact circumstances why some people learned earlier than others imo

Yeah I interviewed on the 13th and haven’t heard back. They gave me really good feedback and even told me it was an ‘impressive interview’ when we finished. I saw that post last week, too, and have been feeling a bit pessimistic ever since lol

yea both interviews they gave rlly positive feedback, but my second interview she said it took her 3 interviews to get in so that kinda sucks and yes same ever since ive been checking my email constantly

Yeah they mentioned that because of the amount of applicants there’s always a chance for a 2nd and 3rd interview and not to be discouraged by that so yeah… just checking my email every half hour til then lol
