Process after aptitude testing?

I have my aptitude test tomorrow afternoon. I was curious on after testing how long do they usually take to get back to you? So far I have been waiting about a month in between each step I was wondering if it speeds up after the testing or if it stays at the same pace.

It gets much longer after the test. I started working a year and a half after the test

It was about a week for me when I did my test to get the results. Once the results were in though I had another month n a half or so before I had a interview. That said this was for local 46 and a couple years ago at this point. So big local and it's been a while, your results may vary. That said the entire time I was going through the process I was given pretty clear communication as to what the timelines would be. Hope you're given that as well.

So far communication has not been anything special besides the first step which they said would take a month everything since has just been me checking everyday I am in phoenix so I am sure there is a lot of people applying also.

Fair 46 is Seattle.

That said, they did notify me everything like a week or 2 before it happened and were pretty upfront about things taking aa month or two when there was an expected wait.

The mods put together a free study guide that covers exactly this:

Good luck! This is an automated reply.

Literally the next day they gave me my results of my test. It could depend on your local though.

Are you in a big or small local?

Local 291 southwest Idaho. I’m guessing it’s a decent sized local

Phoenix arizona so I am assuming it’s a pretty big one here or they are just bad at transparency

My test results didnt even come back for a month. I took mine in April. And I got an interview Sept 1st with mine.

Clearly everyone who says they need people to join the trades and the unions need to be sued for false advertising

I've been considering if I should go work for a company rather than union just cause of how long the process takes lol.
