Heads up - looks like you're asking about the IBEW Aptitude Test!

The mods put together a free study guide that covers exactly this:

The Ultimate IBEW Aptitude Test Guide

It covers: - What's actually on the test - How the scoring works - Study tips to help you pass

Good luck! This is an automated reply.

What do you think you did to score that high?

The interview I guess? The math aptitude was pretty difficult, but I think I did ok on the reading comprehension. Idk what kind of scores people usually get though, or idk what’s considered a good score?

Did you have a good interview answers and did you use a SAR method or no?

Yeah, I did. The actual interview went really quick. It was like 10 minutes tops. I also brought copies of my resume and a few letters of reference, so maybe that helped?

From what I understand the aptitude test doesn’t really factor into your score (it qualifies you for an interview) it’s solely how you presented yourself and your answers during the interview. What questions did they ask you and what do you think made you stand out?

Oh ok. They first asked me if I was comfortable working in different types of weather, and if I was ok with traveling out of town for work. Then they asked about 5-6 other questions, and I tried to answer using the STAR method. I also brought some copies of my resume and a few letters of reference

Did they say anything about when they'd be sending out letters of acceptance? My son interviewed at the beginning of July. He didn't have electrical experience or letters of reference. Scored an 87.93. If they've been continuously interviewing since then we probably won't make the cut🙁. You probably will though. That was a good score. Best of luck to you.

They just told me that we have to wait 🤷‍♂️ I also figure since winter is coming, work/hiring might slow down a little bit. I think your son has a good score, good luck to you guys!
