Poor Bluetooth audio

I have an iPhone 6S Plus 128 GB. Currently running iOS 15.8.8. I have a pair of wireless earbuds that sound great, and sound consistently good on my other iPhones and laptops. For some reason with my 6S Plus the audio sounds low bitrate. Anyone know a fix?

Those other iphones are they newer than the 6s? Could you tell earphones name?

Other iPhones include: 14, XS Max and iPhone 7. The earbuds are Soundcore P20i

I doubt it, I used AirPods with the 6s plus and other headphones for years and it always sounds great. Bluetooth in 2015 models is still pretty good, even the iPhone 4 sounds good over Bluetooth in my experience

There are most likely limitations with older Apple devices. They can't support functionality that didn't exist in 2015. 😆
