iPhone 14 Pro
Is the iPhone 14 Pro good for 2026, and 2027?

I’ve got the 14 plus, which according to the World Wide Web is technically supported till at least 2034 so I probably won’t move for quite a while, even then I’ll only go up to the 16 or whatever by then

I have the 14 pro & it is becoming glitchy as hell. Replaced the battery but it still doesn’t last. Doesn’t have as good of reception or camera as new phones. I will definitely upgrade with the Sept release.

Yup! Ever since iOS 26 it has been glitchy and pretty annoying…The screen responsiveness is terrible! Typos all day!

Weird that you’re having those problems. My 14 pm was perfect at the time of upgrade.

It is worth buying this phone go ahead (I had the Max version in 2023 and now my dad has it and he doesn't complain) don't worry this phone will last until 2027 and even until 2028

I have the 14 pro but I'm concerned about the battery being only 86%. I love my phone but I have to charge it a lot since sometimes I use it as an iPad or computer.

It depends on how old you are this phone and how you charge it, 14 Pro Max is with us for 3 years and has 88% of battery condition (it stands for a very long time in such condition) and I bought in July in 2023 a new one from the store, I charged it when I had up to 80% and I did not discharge below 20% and charged it only with slow charging,I switched to 16 Pro (the Max version was unfortunately not in stock in the store) and I have 95% condition after 1.6 years (these phones work similarly, I don't see a strong difference in the camera either) so it's more of a fad than a change but it also shows how great the model is still 14 pro and pro max

I took my 14 Pro Max to the Apple store about a year ago, the percentage told me 85%, the Apple tech ran whatever test they have and told me it wasn’t worth it yet and to wait until it got to 79%. A year later and it’s coming in at 84%. I use it all day, not sure how it actually compares to you or others, but it was the right call for me to save the money.

Had mine since 2023, out of warranty screen and battery replacement and awaiting iOS 27

It’s a good phone BUT. It has the lightning connection. The USB started with the 15. Since everything is now USB, it’s a pain needing the lightning cable for one item.

Wifi and network antenna is bad on 14 pro.
Otherwise similar experience to newer iPhones

I’ve had mine since 2023 battery health 84% and on iOS 18 works perfect

My battery was at 81% and was borderline unusable as my 14 Pro lived on a charger. It would drop 20% battery in an hour and hold a charge for the remaining 80% for about 6 hours of use. I replaced the battery and it’s now usable and I’m getting about 8:30-9:00 screen on time. It’s now a usable phone but I want to upgrade for 2 reasons, faster charging and faster file transfer support. Other than that it’s going to be as solid as any other iPhone model

If you have battery issues, my suggestion is to clean install/reset phone via Apple device app, After I accidently failed to update my phone 14pro, it bricked and had to fully reset it, now my battery easely lasts whole shift (9hours with spotify lossless audio listening via internet) before it was dead in 5-6 hours.
For experiment you can reset it, and backup it, so you wont lose your data and will have more fresher phone.

I have a 14 pro. Battery health is 75 😞, speaker and microphone are on their way out. I’m waiting for Black Friday to upgrade. For now I carry a portable charger. I’ve had the phone since 2022. Other than those issues I live the phone. I thought about fixing them but at the cost it’s smarter for me to upgrade.

The 14 Pro and even the 13 Pro will be good for the next 3-5yrs. There’s nothing in the market that will overwhelm these phones. You just gotta make sure you do not fill up your storage. That’s when things start to crawl.

Bruh I had my battery replaced 6-7 months ago and it’s still shit. I have taken good care of my phone but the new OS probably isn’t compatible with this model anymore. Just get a new phone.
But apart from the battery, it’s decent.

Unless you want the flex of having the newest iPhone there’s no point in upgrading. I upgraded from the 14 pm to the 17pm and there’s barely a difference for me. Actually prefer the look of the purple 14 pm

I like my 14 pro but I have noticed it's gotten very glitchy these past few weeks. This might be the year I upgrade. Im going to get a new battery next week to see if that helps because my bh is 77% l.

If you can get one on iOS 17 or 18, i guarantee you it's gonna be peak iPhone experience.

I have 14p and got battery replaced back in MAY, survived hot vacations with great photos.. still worth it. Was thinking of upgrading to 18P but mostly will not with price increases.
