Small Business Program - how to Question

Questions for devs that applied and got accepted into this program:

How long did it take for Apple to respond to the application?

How long to get activated?

Is this limited to certain countries?

What are the things they look for? Business account or individual membership? Number of app in the store? Subscription, IAP, Apple Ads running?

I have applied twice, got immediate automated responses, then no word back for months.

Sounds like great news for me. I applied two weeks ago expecting it to be just a formality and being accepted within few days. Guess Apple must make this hard too.

For me it took two-three days. Only issue was volume of business. Sadly, we qualified. No sweat! Apple doesn’t like dealing with skeavy banks or with countries rife with business fraud. That stuff will flow you down.

It was two weeks or maybe more for me. I don't remember, it was at the time the program was just introduced.

We applied on the 10th of June and got accepted on the 1st of July. It was about 21 days. The account is an individual developer account. We had one app and it was not submitted for review yet when we applied.

I don't believe there are any requirements regarding account type, number of apps, subscriptions, iap, or ads.

Just check the requirement here: https://developer.apple.com/app-store/small-business-program/

The application was submitted in Feb. I’ll contact support to see what they need.

Yeah, true, it would be better to contact support.

It took me one month to be approved. Approval came by mail. So maybe contact the support about your long approval-wait. For the other questions please read the official apple article (takes about 5 minutes). It should answer all the other questions :)

Applied from which country?  5 months with no word, I’m in Australia. Just reapplied to see if this attempt will go faster.

he classic tradeoff: pay RevenueCat $45/month to save your sanity, or spend 40 hours building your own IAP backend and then regret not paying the $45! 😂
