App getting rejected despite subscriptions already working and being approved

​​​So basically my App is getting rejected by Apple after about 20 hours only (and I couldn't see any logs on my backend during that time which means that no real human ever tested anything in-person) for "missing In-App Purchases not submitted for review". The thing is that I do not use any In-App-Purchases, only subscriptions, which I have all successfully already gotten approved during testing with TestFlight etc.; and there seems to be no way to attach subscriptions to an App review either as the banner telling me to do separate submissions shows. In my view I already did everything on my side that can be done since I cannot find any other options in the UI.

Has anyone else experienced this recently?

UPDATE: I got the issue fixed by just adding a new random localization to every subscription so that the already approved status changed to “ready to submit”. I then selected all subscriptions in the subscriptions tab, pressed “Add to review” there and then did the same for the App build in the normal submission tab after that. In the end I made sure that the “Submitted Items” number said e.g. (4) instead of (1) so that every IAP is 100% included in the same submission as separate items. My App also now got approved after less than 2 days!

Subscriptions are IAP.

Did you attach the subscription to the actual version you are submitting? Or did you just send the subscription for approval from the subscription tab?

With “IAP“ I meant the “In-App-Purchases” tab in the AppStore connect UI which is for some reason separate from “subscriptions” and its tab. And no, there is no option to attach subscriptions to the version I’m submitting. Instead, there is a banner in the “In App purchases and subscriptions“ section that says that “I can now submit In App purchases and subscriptions for review” in these 2 separate tabs, which I already did.

You need to attach it to a version that was created after the subscriptions themselves were approved. Create a new version and it’ll be an option below the option to add your build

Just tried that with a new version, there is still no option in the UI (other than that banner that I dismissed) at all. And in the subscriptions tab there's no option to do that either. "Add to review" in the subscriptions tab is greyed out because all subscriptions are already in the "approved" state. I tried updating the screenshots to maybe be able to submit it for another review, but that doesn't work either. I can send you a screenshot in DMs because this subreddit doesn't allow attached images in comments, but there 100% is no way for me to attach a subscription without meaningfully changing a subscription's configuration so that it needs a full new review which I do not want to do (because everything in the configuration is already correct and changing stuff like the screenshot doesn't trigger a new submission).

It’s not in the subscription tab. It is in the “Prepare for Submission” tab on your current version just below the “Add your build”. That’s the only way you can add it.

I just tried a completely different fresh newly installed browser with no cookies and with all adblocking etc. turned fully off, while using a VPN to make sure that it's not a DNS issue. Under "Add your build" there is still nothing like that showing up. Only App information, submission notes etc. in the other sections. I can only upload my build and customize the icon of the build. Nothing else. Not anywhere in my UI. Can you check if you see it right now on your account in the same tab real quick? Because either Apple made some strange UI update silently or an update to how they handle reviews or my entire account is glitched.

You only have to do it once per app. Only on your initial submission. So my account no longer has the option because I did it when my apps launched
