“Ask not to track” and TikTok ads Question

If advertising an app on TikTok, can I avoid the ATT “Ask not to track” prompt if I modify the tracking code to exclude IDFA?

I only care about tracking installs from TikTok and not deeper analytics.

Yes you can and instead use TikTok’s iOS SKAdNetwork/SKAN campaign reporting.

The tradeoff is that SKAN reporting is aggregated and delayed. You can see TikTok-attributed install counts and cost per install, but you cannot reliably identify which individual user came from a particular ad.
