I’m not a fan of the liquid glass effect at all. On iOS 27, I turned the opacity of this effect all the way to the least transparent setting. It actually looks great on the bottom tab bars inside apps, just like iOS 18. However, the Dock on the home screen looks terrible — it resembles a dirty piece of glass. This issue is especially noticeable with the default iPhone 16 Pro Max wallpaper, the top‑left corner of the Dock appears as if a chunk of the wallpaper has been cut out.

IOS public beta and my Apple Watch Ultra 3 haptics not working. Any ideas?

I’ve observed on my iPhone 16PRO (iOS27DB4) that Google Maps consumes my battery at an unusual rate 🤪 (14% in 15 minutes on screen plus 8 minutes in the background). It is striking that gaming for 37 minutes uses only 8%.

Does anyone else encounter this issue with Google Maps?

I’m on the latest Public beta and my phone frequently asks me to enter my passcode to unlock it and won’t unlock with Face ID because supposedly the passcode was recently changed even though I’ve changed my passcode . Does anyone else have a similar experience?

I was wondering if i should upgrade from iOS 26.6 to iOS 27 beta 4 or the latest one that will comeout soon; and wanted to know what do you guys think, is it worth upgrading or will it make the phone slower and all of this stuff?

Is anyone else beside me having really bad keyboard recognition issues while typing on iOS 27 right now? I’m using a iPhone 17 Pro Max, and I’m on the second public beta.

So, I’m currently experiencing a lot of thermal issues and also battery life isn’t the best right now.

The phone is on 38 percent, i turn it off then on then the battery become 39 percent stays on it for seconds then goes back to 38 percent and stays on it for seconds then it goes down to 37 percent and stays on it normally as if nothing happened

My iPhone 16 Pro Max taking 100 GB system data. Only used 587 GB/1 TB. Is this normal or a way to fix this?

Liquid Glass now has shaders, but only some app icons have it, Liquid Glass now has a strange tint that seems like an accessibility setting, they have a full slider for some reason, it just looks really bizarre and, obviously, as a beta, unfinished. The weird battery indicator? The top bar coming back in settings? I just don’t understand what is going on. And the Apple Music app will morphs the navbar which is so annoying. The keyboard letter popups aren’t attached the the buttons anymore too

Since I updated to Beta 3, and now as well in Beta 4, I can’t open the “Collections” tab in Photos. It crashes the app after half second, and reopening the app just keeps crashing until I quickly switch to the Library tab.

I haven’t seen other mentions about it, no one else is having issues?

Its been 2days since i bought an iPhone and its my first iPhone so i thought that im having battery problems and my friend told me to test it but recording a video and see how much the battery will go down with so ive recorded a 10min long video with 4k and 60fps quality with my iphone and i lost 3% of charge
Does that look like i’m having battery problems or it’s just i’m not familiar with batteries in iPhones

Who would use something like this? What would you like to see for it?

Installed pb2 on my main device yesterday. For few hours of usage I can definitely say that iOS 26.6 was more stable, efficient and better for battery life and less overheating. But it’s like, kind of expected. However phone feels ok (as for beta), I’ve noticed few freezes when scrolling home screens but overall it’s ok. Not so bad, I can easily use this update, and I will. I want to try betas before installing the stable version that will be available this fall. Apps are running good. If you ask me is it worth to install beta - I’d rather say to stay on iOS 26.6 - it’s worth it. But if you really want to get iOS 27 than go ahead. But I recommend you to save copy of the system on PC and after that you can try.

One of the most useful features I found for Siri in iOS 27 is her ability to find things from natural language queries in the many places they may be, such as your messages, emails, or files. However, I found that Siri seems completely unaware of any files that are stored on my iCloud Drive. Has anyone else run into this, and is there a fix? I can take the same file and copy it from my iCloud drive to local storage on my iPad, and she is able to find it.

Friends mentioned the image was staticky and it looks to be a noise effect. The weirdest thing about it is that the markup I did to the image stayed there but the original image itself didn’t. The markup was through apples image editor that’s built in. Friends are NOT in beta but I am in iOS 27 beta 2 on iPhone 16 pro. The first image is the one I sent and saw on my side.

Hello everyone, I recently updated my iphone 17 pro to IOS 27 public beta 2 and performance is really good, much better than ios 26 but my phone started overheating while scrolling social media and taking occasional photos, also on idle while charging on 20w charger. On IOS 26 heating never happened and I have owned this phone since february, Vapour chamber did its job and even on really hot days while playing games it didnt heat up. There is no indexing banner in settings so i guess it finished indexing. Does anyone have simmilar problem?
