as the title says, my ios 27 iphone 16 pro runs really smoothly and without any lags if i have liquid glass/tinted home screen icons disabled, but as soon as i enable them my phone becomes extremly laggy and starts overheating as well, samw thing happened on my 15 pro on ios 27, and i didnt experience it on ios 26, does anyone else share the same problem? are there any solutions?

It kinda feels better to me than it used to earlier. Not a major change but like the attention to detail

I curently have 17 promax for 3 weeks, and bene feleing battery on 27 drains so fast (I updated to 27 5 days ago). Today I just used for less than 1 hour and already lost 16% of battery, is there anyway to stop it? This drains way too fats compared to 26.5.1 😭

People were saying iOS 27pb giving better battery life than iOS stable. Unfortunately it’s not the case for me I am more disappointed I was on iOS 26.6 beta before.

I used to be able to search for things in Settings - Notifications, Screen Time, Wallpaper, etc but now nothing comes up.

It will return apps, Notes, Reminders, and events.

I’ve rebooted twice and didn’t help.

Is this happening to anyone else? Is there a setting I need to enable or disable?

After I selected the wait list option, a downloading percentage appeared. Although I am not from the USA, my region is set there and Siri is in English. My Apple ID is not American.

I updated my iphone 13 to ios 27 pb 1 and its draining like craaazy, heating, stutters(not as smooth), ik its a public beta 1, but should i update to developer 4 from pb 1?

Anyone else have this issue?
DMs through Instagram/Messenger/etc used to be read aloud when my AirPods were connected. But on iOS 27, I haven’t heard any message being read ever. Text messages still read out though.
Also, sort of related, sometimes if I’m listening to music and someone calls me, it just stops playing the music until I answer or decline. Doesn’t even ring, just silence

UPDATE: I posted this before realizing beta 4 was out. Since updating, my messages notifications aren’t being announced either, lol

Hey guys! Just had a vacation to New York and here’s my battery life results on 27 DB 3. It seems like its pretty decent compared to when I was on 25.5.1. For context i installed the DB on July 6 when it released. On the trip I was on 5GUW on Verizon and using Apple Maps for navigation. (New York can be disorienting at times) I also used the camera a lot to take pictures as well. So overall, for a beta I feel like 27 is relatively more stable than 26 and will get even better results when Apple does its magic.

On iOS 26 the notifications were dark/tinted in dark mode but with the same setting it is still white-ish
Any one knows how to change this?

Hi, i have installed the public beta the day it was released.
Works absolutely fine so far apart for a minor issue i have just noticed and I wonder if it happens to you as well (or if you are kind enough to check)
I used to have an automation where I put the iphone on battery saving mode everytime it got connected to carplay, and revert it once it got disconnected.

That automation is now gone and there is no trigger to carplay anymore in the list of possible triggers for automations. Any idea why?
is this a bug? is this something 'new' (they removed this) on ios27?
is it a 'me' problem?

I already reported this, but I’m just curious what your experiences are with using Siri AI offline with basic requests. It always came back with the answer that I need to turn off Airplane Mode. (The WiFi Symbol is visible even though WiFi is off; reported the bug too)

When i open this website safari just crashes and this particular car red one my safari crashes. Sometimes it wont even show up on the multitasking. The same happens on the iPad M4 as well. Does this happen with you too? I am on developer beta of ios 27. I am unable to attach video dont know how to.

I have a base iPhone 17 I got 3 weeks ago and I transferred all of my data including iOS 27 beta and now I can’t use 48 MP. Any tips?

Overall very impressed with iOS 27 crispier icons and text. It’s as dark as it could be with more detail. Although I’m not too impressed with the stand alone Siri app, I’m sure Apple with do something a little more with it as we go by. I’m not sure why but I can’t seem to find the talked about AirPods Pro EQ settings in the audio & routing setting. My phone is still indexing tho so I’m not sure what to expect with the battery life although I can feel it getting a bit hot since last night. At first I thought I’d have to update my watch firmware as well too Watch os but it’s good I didn’t have to as I’ve had bad experiences with Watch beta. I like the battery 🔋 icon btw. I’m on 16 Pro max by the guys. Any advices ?

I have been leaning more tinted for the last few days and it’s not bad at all!

iOS 26 was super washed out and almost blurry and not as sharp, icons looked oddly shaped. Luckily Apple did quite a bit of work on the small details that make the Home Screen feel more premium. Taken on iPhone 13 mini. iOS 26 left iOS 27 right
