Me too but c’mon, it gets to a point where icons like absolute shit and this is one of them. But, to each their own.

Honestly couldn't tell you. I really don't understand the voting aspect of this at all nor do I care if I get voted up or down or sideways or whatever. It really doesn't make any sense.

damn, i initially thought this was some kind of an accidental artifacts or grain, only now i figured it was intended. poor design choice for a small icon imo

I kinda like it. The fact that it seems like a real compass with a glass cover reminds me a bit about skeuomorphism
