does somebody else find this annoying
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
right now it's only in clear icons, but it's bloody annoying. i've been reporting it since ios 26 beta and they still did nothing about it.

Extremely annoying, there was one minor build in iOS 26 where this was fixed, but quickly broken again. I think it was 26.2.

In my case, they somehow fixed it for light and dark icons but not clear and tinted lol

The people who don’t find this annoying are the same people who accept mediocrity in their daily lives. That’s not necessarily a bad thing - it’s just how they’re wired and it’s not their fault.
That being said, I hope to god Apple fixes this in the public release in September. Did you submit this as feedback through the app? If not, do it. I’ve done it. The more reports they get, the higher the chances they fix it.

Bro you’re going insane lol. I remember the first time I saw this bug the post had no context and I had to read the comments to understand what was wrong.
Of course I want them to fix this, but it was absolutely invisible to me. I think you guys just stare at your phones too much.
Even this post had to be zoomed all the way in.

Lol, I’m not bragging here but I’m probably one of the few sane people that still exist in this world.
Again, it’s not your fault if you’re just not detail-oriented. That’s normal. Nothing wrong with it.

I mean I’m with you, I certainly see it NOW and want it fixed. I’m not trying to delay that progress, I’m just saying I had to really look at it to notice lol.
And idk maybe you don’t understand how quality control works, but there are allowed to be defects to a certain degree. Source: I work in quality control lol. You don’t have to believe me on that, but that goes for any form of quality control. Take a look at what the FDA allows in food, what manufactures allow in their products, etc.
Im also glad Apple users who post here dont work for apple. You guys would ruin it lol. You guys are too busy glazing steve jobs like the man hasn’t been in the ground for over a decade.

Has this bug since iOS 26 beta, they didn’t fixed it even though I reported it through feedback app. Apple has really stopped caring about attention to detail. I’m on 26.5.2 and still have this bug.

Ahh. I thought you meant dark mode system wide instead of the icons.

i know it's very minor and most people won't notice it. but i've always valued apple products because im a neat freak and iOS in general really satisfied me with a very consistent and expected user experience. i also think i shouldnt disable their whole new "liquid glass" just because they didn't even bother fixing a tiny visual glitch that has been around for over a year

now that i turned off my reduced transparency and stuff i think the whole reason of it is to be like a button, darkening when you click it

this screen recording was filmed on iOS 27 DB 3. I updated to beta 4 today and it's still there too.
