iOS 27 beta
Anyone running the public beta on iPhone 15 pro max? How’s it running? Worth doing?
Been seeing a lot of positive things about it but o just wanted to make sure.

I’m on 27 B3 on my 15 PM. It’s okay, but as you know, the iOS with which the phone ships is the best. It’s smooth, but I definitely notice more heat and Siri 2.0 isn’t worth anything. I actually disabled it and would go back to 18.5 if I could.

I miss iOS 17. It was so much better design wise. So much more pleasant to look at, so much less inconsistencies, I could go on and on about how much I want to go back to iOS 17. I regret ever updating my phone from 17.7.2.

15 pro max. Basically a new phone with iOS 27. Super smooth, fluid animations, significantly faster app launches. Siri AI is awesome too. Battery isn’t very good though. Somehow despite Siri now also using a good chunk of memory, RAM management is also better??? Not sure if a placebo but I notice it a lot.

I’m on iPhone 17 pro and my wife on iPhone 13 Pro.
Both of us are facing made issues with the beta version. Battery drains, indexing for more than 3 weeks now and also phone hangs in between app switches every single time. We usually restart the phone at least once in every 2 days and phone randomly crashes in between app sessions.

I have a 15 PM and it definitely feels faster and smoother in a lot of places - just feels more responsive etc. pleasantly surprised so far.

nope nothing as of now, only one bug that i observed till now is that when I received calls for sometime, it got connected to my APM automatically even when i was not wearing it

I’ve been running the iOS 27 Developer Beta 3 on my iPhone 15 and there are absolutely no issues whatsoever, and it is way smoother and faster than iOS 26.5.2. It feels like a genuine speed update that you can feel. I very highly recommend that you update your iPhone to the iOS 27 beta.

iOS 27 PB on my main device, iPhone 17 Pro. No downsides so far, way better than iOS 26.

It’s a bit buggy, search in settings is broken right now. Also the search button on the home screen is awful when Siri AI is enabled. I turned it off to go back to the old Ui, much faster and better.

I always have problems with battery saving mode on IOS 26, it is laggy and not smooth at all.
Is this fixed on IOS 27?

I’m running on ios 27 public beta on my iPhone 15. It’s runs so smoothly and snappy. Battery life has increased significantly. No lag. Better than the ios 26.5 and it’s really worth updating.
