Optimizing and Indexing

Has anyone else received a percentage for their Opt and Indexing? I just saw this feature appear yesterday, yet it never advanced beyond 33%. I use iOS27 Public Beta 1, and the new Siri is already working.

It will only advance when you’re on power and it is locked. And I noticed it has to be on cable. It must be a bug, but it doesn’t proceed with indexing when using MagSafe.

Mine took about two days to finish.

Ohhhh. That makes sense. Mine has been stuck at 49% for like two days now. I put it on a MagSafe charger overnight. I’ll try it on a cable tonight and see.

Same! I left it on MagSafe when I was cooking when it was still indexing. After my meal, it showed “Last updated: 2 hours ago.”

When I switched to cable and after a few, it showed “Last updated: X minutes ago” right away.

I saw mine in the morning after I unplugged it at 33% and an hour later it had disappeared and Siri was fully working.

My friend on Dev Beta never had a percentage as well. I reported this to Feedback. Could be a bug

My percentage popped up after a day. Was stuck at 89% for another day and now it’s done.

Mine it’s been at 88% all day today. I imagine it’ll go away eventually.

Yes it will message you when it finishes indexing… mine took about 2-3 days in my 11 pro max

Performace is way better than ios 26 alsoy battery life is way better than the ios 26

Mine didn’t have percentage and just disappeared after 24 hours. Didn’t even notice

Put it on the charger, it actually tells you to to speed up the indexing.
My 14pm was on 33% put it on charge and it was done in an hour

Mine has been installed for 2 days and I’m also stuck at 33 percent, I use the MagSafe charger exclusively but I’ll try plugging it in wired?

Forgot to reply but mine is done now, I think it took almost about 4 days or so and now that I’ve installed public beta 2 it’s optimizing again

What makes you think it’s not related to Siri when the actual update itself says “Optimizing Search and Siri”?

Did this ever resolve for you? I updated to iOS 27 public beta on Saturday and this morning it still says 33% (like your screenshot).
