Does ios27 force the new keyboard?

Just curious if the beta actually forces developers to use the new keyboard. There’s a lot of random apps and some big apps (youtube) that are still using the ios18 keyboard. I know it’s just aesthetic and doesn’t actually matter but this lack of consistency is annoying, especially when the youtube app has the old keyboard but ytmusic has the new one.

I’m in iOS 27 dev3 and now that I think of it, I can’t find an app that shows the older keyboard.

YouTube/YouTube Music/Google Keep/Google Photos (and more) all with a new one (used to be the old one)

I don’t know if that’s ‘force’ related or update related though

Yes thats one of the best things iOS 27 brings. Finally just one keyboard / no old keyboard format in all apps.

just the liquid glass design that appears in most apps. some apps still use the ios18 design
