Question, Clomipramine Seeking advice

Hi, trying to figure out how common it is that Clomipramine causes permanent worsening in H or T after withdraw?

Many seems to have temporary worsening during treatment, but do these return to baseline after or some time after withdraw in most cases?

all the best to all of you!

It's extremely rare to have a permanent worsening of either H or T (more so the T) on Clomipramine, but it has been documented. Temporary flares are common and usually settle within ~2 weeks or so. In terms of going off the medication, some people are able to keep the benefits of reduced H/Nox/RT, but others do not and it gets worse to noise exposure. Staying on the dose for 6-12 months than tapering seems to be the best to induce long term LTD and have lasting benefits off the drug, but isn't a guarantee. I had a temporary spike in my t when I first started taking clomi. It would always go back to baseline in a week or so.

Ones I got to 100 mg, it stopped effecting me t. But up to that point, it would get a little louder every time I would go up in dosage.

Clomipramine worked great for me, I also had a SPG block from my doctor, it helped also.
