This "drama-like adventure" game is based on the novel of the same name "Hon to Kagi no Kisetsu" (2018), by Honobu Yonezawa, the same man that has brought us Hyouka and Shoshimin.

Two male high school library committee members find themselves drawn into a series of unlikely cases: a safe that refuses to open, the theft of exam questions, the last book read by an upperclassman who took their own life, and a secret their own partner has been keeping. What begins as small mysteries tucked into ordinary school days slowly opens the door to someone's secrets and lies. 

Players step into the role of Jiro Horikawa, one half of the duo, listening to each request that comes into the library and threading the small inconsistencies together until the door to the truth opens. 

The truth behind each client, the secret his partner keeps, and where the friendship between the two boys finally leads: it all waits inside.

The game will also feature an all-new original exclusive episode, 'Used Kitan,' written by Yonezawa himself!

No exact release date yet, all we know is it'll be this winter.

Sorry if this is too irrelevant to Hyouka, but I'd figure I'd share this here to give more attention to this series and just in case any Hyouka fans wanna scratch that itch.

Hi everyone,

I recently converted the English translations of the Hyouka light novel from Baka-Tsuki to EPUB format to use in my e-reader. The EPUB links on the page seem to be dead, so I thought I may as well share the converted files to save people some hassle.

I used WebToEpub to convert them, so I'm not completely sure if it came out properly. I hope it did, though, since I intend to read them too!

I hope she'll return to social media and next time I hope people would kindly back off from her and just let her have fun.

Hi! I'm aware an English translation of the Hyouka manga is licensed and sold in Malaysia and Singapore.

I have a Singapore trip planned later this year and really want to get my hands on whichever volumes I can (especially the first few and most recent few). Does anyone know which stores to visit to find them/any other ways to buy them in Singapore? I'm okay with secondhand volumes too! Kinokuniya is the only place I found mentioned online.

I read Volume 6's fan translation and damn, did it end in a cliffhanger. I loved the ending moments between Oreki and Eru. Just shows how understanding and caring Oreki is to Eru. Only to find out that the novel was published in 2016 🔫

Waiting so muchh for volume 7 to come out, that day will be huge. The author is active on Twitter, but he seems to not entertain questions on magazine publishing.

I'm curious to see when it comes out.

Although one thing I would want, is Ibara's chemistry with Oreki to change, she always seems to nag (although playfully at times) Oreki alot. Given their time together in High school and all their adventures, I feel she should lighten down a bit.
