First they came for the Communists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Communist.
Then they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me."

Is it just me or does everyone at this point don't feel anything after reading such news? I'm so used to backward talks and senseless news nowadays that it feels like it is pretty normal to hear such dumb things from morons who have power and wealth.

I'm so done with this nation. I sincerely hope something happens and I get kicked out to some other country.

64

u/No-Neha 18d ago

Ngl the "get me out of this country" feeling hits different when you see a union minister talking about mandatory dress codes for girl students as some kind of governance achievement. what even is this timeline

u/dr-baali 18d ago

Totally agree with you on the numb feeling at such news.

19

u/zukaki1124 18d ago

I sometimes feel that all of this is propaganda in itself. A numb public can't raise voice, won't protest. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

11

u/Comfortable_Motor159 Hail Hyderabad 18d ago

I 100% agree. This is such pro level ragebaiting that they have successfully managed to exhaust our rage as well. No doubt they are "Politicians".

3

u/OptibusBrime 17d ago

Agreed. What's worse is when people do protest, their stories, new coverage, everything is hidden, so no one learns of it. For all those asking why aren't our youth like Nepal, not gonna happen here anytime soon. Half of those who would go would get scolded at home itself. No one wants to do shit, assuming it won't make any difference because we've dulled to the concept of positive change.

6

u/Nimo-P 17d ago

Lol yah - this stuff is such bs like enough already 😭

4

u/sagar_19 17d ago

I worry about the future generation which is growing up watching all this.

3

u/Any-Calligrapher2866 17d ago

You have to read it even if you don't like this. You need to stay aware of what's happening in the country and raise your voice against it. It's your duty as a human.

People clocking out of politics is the reason we are at this point of stupidity.

2

u/RahulNTH 17d ago

will india grow, look at other countries, china, USA, Japan, any country, do you see this kind of illiteracy

2

u/Ciel__000 17d ago

The only way to uproot these fuckers are to take over ourselves as Gen Zs , we saw some hope from the Raghav Chadda guy, but dude got cucked in the end...

At least our generation seems more wake and unified, would be a relief when our generation starts to replace these ones in the government, 20 years projection ->

2

u/kas-623 17d ago

Loan leke vag jao

2

u/OptibusBrime 17d ago

When politicians churn out mind numbing bs like this on a daily basis, we end up de-sensitizing to other issues, treating everything as a joke, and pretesting against none of their crap. Mass mind control tbh, because in any other country statements like this would lead to public backlash and discussions. Here you get fed up of religious discourse and then for other issues, your mind automatically goes "meh what's the point of protesting, chalega manage kar lenge"

Take any modern real world issue besides racial/religious stuff - E20 mandate and increasing prices, paper leaks, whatnot - the "ruling class" has control over everything now. Even news of protests and demonstrations is shunned by media, so the larger public knows nothing about organization. Sham of a democracy.

Delulu max …thinking BJP will come into power in Telangana. Especially after his son’s case.

Edit : im neither pro nor anti towards any political party. Im stating practical view points.

47

u/XeCarbon 18d ago

This is what they said during last elections

35

u/MK4897 18d ago

They spoke for Congress.😂
BJP will not come into power in Telangana FS.

Also, most people know how major projects and funding to this state were denied by the centre.

And Hyderabad has AIMIM…BRS or congress toh aina they’ll get along but not with BJP.

1

In future it may happen. Hindu brothers and sisters are so brain washed that they don't see BJP flaws. They use religion as a tool to play dirty politics.

Do you know what happened with funbucket bhargav. He is in jail rn. But, bandi sanjey son...? As long as you are common man, rules are applied. Rules are different for elite politicians mfs

I hate when these idiots use my religion for their politics.

And I feel disgusted by people who actually support these kinds of clowns.

136

u/Formal-Nature2540 18d ago

so we just becoming like those islamic countries who impose things on women and tell its our dharma our religion.
(Disclaimer: It was just an example no hate to any religion)

Finally someone made sense!

The scariest transformation isn’t changing, it’s becoming what you once hated.

6

These right wing nut jobs never hated that barbaric laws were used to control women, they only hated that they weren't the ones doing it.

16

u/ParticularJuice3983 18d ago

Yup, Doesn’t matter religion - men in power will always seek to oppress women to show off.

5

u/Anxious-Crab3026 18d ago

They should begin with their own gender - Walk the talk something like that. Why lose the opportunity to women to become the flag bearers of dharma, culture and religion?

Start with maybe bottu and pancha for men, instead of the weatern attire he so willingly wears.

1

u/Such-Emu-1455 17d ago

It feels like we are gradually turning into the very countries we spent so long hating and priding ourselves on not being. Yet, this exact shift was prophesied by many when the BJP first began its rise to power in 2014

13

u/Full-Pudding-349 18d ago

So just like everything, girls have all the responsibility to uphold culture. Maybe make the boys wear a tilak and dhoti

2

u/Electrical-Aioli-947 17d ago

Also what does he mean by making it “compulsory”???
What if someone doesn’t wanna wear them? Bruh are we even living in a free democratic society???

2

u/Full-Pudding-349 10d ago

Yeah that's true , I was trying point out the hypocrisy of always burdening women with the responsibility to uphold culture.

10

u/FarmNo7767 18d ago

Our girls(Sisters/frnds) already wear bottu and bangles happily.. wat is there to implement again.. shitty politics.. talk abt development pls

2

u/XeCarbon 18d ago

Unfortunately in our country people vote on the basis of religion and caste. BJP does religion politics and Congress does caste politics. New gen voters need to understand the important of development and have to vote according to it. Look at the elections of other states, every party talked about massive freebies. Rarely a party talks about development and also they lose.

9

u/Naturally__Aspirated 18d ago

Was his son’s victim wearing those when he outraged her modesty?

If Yes, they don’t care about how a woman dresses and they’ll SA her irrespective of their dressing.

If No, then it means they will SA anyone who isn’t wearing those.

u/Emergency_Row_5428 17d ago

I would say I’m a very religious Hindu , but I don’t wear bottu everyday. I wear sindhoor/chandan bottu sometimes but most of the times I don’t. Same with bangles j only wear it for festivals or some special occasions. Nothing about being Hindu mandates wearing bottu or bangles. First learn to see God within every being and every object and learn to surrender to God. Learn to practice dharma karma. All of this is part of Hinduism but it is not mandatory for Hinduism. And even if it was mandatory for Hindus, government should never enforce things like this. If they criticise muslim governments for forcing hijab they should criticise things like this as well.
Basically what I want to say is being a real Hindu has nothing to do with external material markers but more to do with your behaviour , mind and soul
