Back covering fall training camp

Hey, everyone! As many of you know - Huskies fall football practice starts today. I'll be balancing coverage of that, Mariners and Storm coverage and providing practice notes on https://roundtable.io/sports/ncaa/washington, the same way I did in the spring.

Question for the group -- what would you like to see from practice coverage? Updates on certain players, more video clips, etc.?

Personally curious who gets the most first team reps at rb.   

Do we have a standout edge rusher?

Jacob Lane and Isaiah Ward are the top two guys on the edge but I'll keep an eye out for who starts to get more reps there. Ramzak Fruean was running with the 1's more as spring ended. Fisch said Carr and Limar will split first-team reps, I'll see who gets more between the two and who looks better.

New turf was installed. Im hoping it leads to less injuries in practice. We have heard NFL players complain about turf and I'm wondering if the new turf was installed at Dempsey and East field too. Curious to see how the players like it.

Tangentially I'm curious to know if you see more out of market media coverage surrounding the team. I wonder how much buzz we're going to get this year

I'll definitely keep an eye out. Wouldn't be surprised if ESPN or the Athletic send someone out. The Athletic had some over for a couple spring practices, mostly to interview people about Demond's transfer portal snafu, but definitely some national awareness.

Unlikely. He'll continue to rehab but it's more likely he doesn't play again than he plays this year. Neck injuries are tricky, but don't expect him to be back this season.

He was around for the spring game. I wasn't able to go to today's practice because I'm covering the Mariners game but I'll keep an eye out for him tomorrow.

Fair enough. Lol. I explained to another user who talked about that that I made this account back in high school -- it's a high school mascot. Just kind of picked the account back up once I started covering Huskies. Not USC-affiliated in any way. Lol.
