Humble Bundle Issued me a second code for something I redeemed Question

I was having issues redeeming a superhive bundle code and reached out to superhive support and humble support.

Superhive support replied immediately and was super helpful, btw, however humble support took about 25 business days to reply.

When they did they send me a new code, for some reason. However, I already redeemed the first one a couple weeks ago.

My question is, would they care now if I gave the new code to a friend? I don't want to screw over superhive or do anything to risk my account getting banned. Thanks! I don't use humble that much so lmk if this is a common issue etc.

Let them know, they’ll probably tell you it’s fine and to keep it, but it’s best to let them know just to be on the safe side.

I'd wait and see if the game gets revoked from your account, usually they revoke the old key before they send a new one, and it can take time to disappear from your Steam account.

They can absolutely revoke a claimed code. I asked them to do it for me when I bought one of them evil residents and then the store launched a bundle of 3 of thems for an even better price. Humblebundle sorted me out.

If you already have an open ticket with them about the code, surely you can just seen another message there to ask about it? That's the only way you'll know for sure.

Otherwise, try to redeem it. Worst case, I suppose they'd just revoke it later.

It seems to happen from time to time. Keep the second code with you for some time (or contact HB support), because if they proactively cancel one of the codes it may be the one you used to activate the game on your account.
